800-617-9693 call quite often.  I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but I guess it doesn't do any good because most folks are exempt from the DO NOT CALL list.  Why bother?

Anyway, I have Caller I.D. and refuse to answer my phone if I don't know the caller.  I have a phone for MY convenience, not theirs!!!!

I completely agree with you.  These people call quite often and you would think they would give up because I WILL NOT answer their calls!  They just called this morning at 9:10 A.M.

Too bad they don't read these messages!

Can you believe these so-in-so's are calling me at 2:30 P.M. on a Sunday afternoon?   Give me a break!  It should be against the law to bother people on Sunday.  Actually, it should be against the law EVERY DAY!!!

I know who they are and will NEVER answer their calls no matter when they call!  Talk about nerve!

I don't know why I bother to put my phone number on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!"

Now some companies are even calling on my cell phone.  How in the world did they acquire my cell phone number?!

I am about to start reporting these calls to the FCC!

I received a call from 1-800-617-9693 (Tennessee Police Federation) yesterday.  The person calling was extremely rude.  He refused at first to give his name, implied I was lying when I told him my husband was not home and then said, "Oh, you're sweet." when I asked to be placed on the no-call list.  It really should be illegal for people like this to call you.

Yeah, these clowns call each and every day. My wife answered one night without checking the caller id. She explained that she considered a law enforcement charity a worthy cause, but explained that her husband was without work right now (true dat) and we couldn't donate now. His reply, "I've already heard that excuse today". I leaned into the phone and said "now you've heard it twice, bub!". He hung up.

Received a call from 1-800-617-9693 Sunday morning.  They hung up when I answered.  When I called the number right back, it just rang and rang, no one ever answered.

Constantly calling and asking for donations.  Very annoying.  They are legit.  I checked them out once last year, but when I researched that most of the money did not even go to help police, I refused to donate.

Received a call from this number today and no one answered.  When I called back there was no answer.  It said they were unable to take my call after about ten rings.

It is the TN Law Enforcement Federation and when called back, there is a machine that will so state. The sorry part of Do Not Call is that charities, law enforcement, politicians are allowed to call. It also exempts anyone that you have conducted business with, their subsidiaries and associated 2nd party people they do business with. It is a useless law and needs the words Opt Out changed to Opt In with No Exemptions for the caller. Hardest part is to get the gutless politicians to make the law actually favorable to the average person.

They call and if I answer say nothing, and hang up, if I don't answer will not leave message

This number called my home this evening and when I did not answer he actually called my name and asked me to pick up!!! Creepy people!!!! This will not get you any donations ever again!!!!!!

Got a call with a voice mail, no message just clicks then hung up.

Calling wanting money for vest for Tenn Officers. anywhere from 25.00 and up. Is this legal.  It was from a Toll Free Call.

Calls me daily. Usually when my Granddaughter is asleep and wakes her up. This is very frustrating!
