This number is for Vericrest Financial... They are financial parasites.
They purchased my mortgage from Citi Mortgage while I was in HAMP Loan Modification with Citi Mortgage. I was shocked, did not know what had happened.... then I found out that these guys (banks) made agreement with FDIC to get back 85% of original loan amount plus the amount they get when they foreclose the house and sell it. No wonder banks are not giving Loan Mod or they make it extremely difficult to get Loan Mod done because these parasites makes so much more money behind the scene when they foreclose or short sale the house they financed or bought. They get our tax dollars from FDIC, 85% of loan amount plus whatever they get through foreclosure sale. They can't lose.
Isn't this amazing! There are so many class action lawsuits filed against banks and I am part of a class action lawsuits against Citi Mortgage and I will join when I find one for Vericrest Financial.

I want to be included on a class action suit against CitiMortgage and Vericrest Financial.  How do I go about making this happen?  I am so fed up fighting with these companies for two years.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Let me know also. I had a loan that was so chewed up and spit out that CIT all of a sudden changed to VERICREST Financial LLC, which is the biggest fraud set up ever! It started with Accreditted Home Loans, and has been frauded and covered up the whole way through! I researched and found that there are deals from BofA, Wells Fargo, and Chase that also affiliates them with this FRAUDULANT chain of CON artists meant to rip off the "Average Joe".  Vericrest, I am suing you for the $200,000 house you illegally foreclosed on and sold for $61,000, and you also are responsible for throwing out a family that paid their rent of $1100 every month.  The Devil never sleeps.  Please America, lets stand up, we are being suppressed and taking it right up the pipeline! I just hired an attorney to sue Citi Mortgage and Vericrest Financial (who bought my loan from Citi Mortggge).
He told me that my case is a winner because Citi has approved me for three month trial mod, this means that if I make three month payment without missing a payment, the payment amount for the trial mod becomes my permanent monthly payment (Principal, Interest, Tax, Insurance).
Instead, they dragged on for 15 months and finally approved for permanent Loan Mod which is only $100 less than my original payment,,,,,,What was all the work that I went through! what was the point....On top of that, the difference between the original monthly payment and the trial mod payment, which is about $1000 per month, they added to my principal with additional fees (late fees, inspection fees,processing fees). after they approved me for trial Loan Mod and dragged on fer 15 months, I owe them $25000 more than my original principal owed. This is a criminal act!!!! My lawyer is so confident that I will win this case.
My lawsuit will be filled in Los Angeles county. I will keep you posted.

I am in a law suite with Vericrest, and . Law firm for the Defendants here in Atlanta, Georgia,  and the people who are assisting me are idiots anyway get a forensic audit and see if that helps i am also interested in entering a class action law suite as well these guys will have to be stopped  look into your transfer and assignment if your loan was sold it is probable that it is a fake or robo signed if you have Paul Laird as the signer of mers it is probable that it is fraudulent go get a attorney

I just started getting calls and the reps I speak to always seem to have an attitude. This loan is on a property of which I am an executor but I don't make payments, they are drafted from a fiduciary account and have been since 2004 but now all of a sudden i'm not receiving calls concerning payments. This loan was originally started out a CIT Group account.  So I guess i've been sold to Vericrest too. . What can I do?

My sitation is almost identical to yours!! We agreed to a forebearance with Citimortgage and the next month I was notified that they sold my mortgage to Vericrest. Then Vericrest would not take my payment because the did not see I had a forebearance after three months faxing verification of the Forebearance to different departments and getting very loud and angry, they agreed to take my payments and allow the previous payments.

The same week that they agreed to take my previous payments, Vericrest filed for Foreclosure against me. I then called Vericrest and they said the Foreclosure is on hold until the Forebearance amount is paid in full.

After reading your email below, I feel that they purposly delayed taking my payments so they could foreclosure on me.

I am contacting an attorney and will start looking for the Class Action Lawsuit against Citi mortgage and will do what I can to get Vericrest Mortgage.

My husband is a police officer and was hurt on the job back in May.  He suffered a broken leg and many tears in his knee.  We went without his overtime pay for many many months and got behind on our mortgage.  Citi finally approved a modification, and our three trial payments were going to include our taxes and insurance, which we were so happy about.  Two months into the trial period, we received a letter from Vericrest about the sale of our mortgage.  We called them and they said they would not honor the modification and we would have to figure out something else.  Now, remember we had already made one payment to citi under our trial period, but for some reason Vericrest has not record of that.  Vericrest then told us we would qualify for a refinance, so we went through that process only to be told No, by the company who first said we would qualify.  Now we have a HAMP packet, and we know this too is a joke, especially after reading what everyone else has gone through.  We don't know what to do.  Do we just walk away from our home, do we stay until we are forced to leave or do we get an attorney, which we can't really afford.  We can now make our payments, but we can't pay the $9,000 they say we owe them, which we know we don't owe that much.

We recently lost our home from the same exact situation, I got approved for my loan mod from Citi, paid the 90 days trial period all on time then next thing I know I am getting letters from Vericrest stating they bought my mortgage, they said they didn't DO loan mods through their company and they werent aware of my situation, I faxed all my final approval paperwork from Citi to them and they still wouldn't accept it, I am upset, frustrated and confused and would like to know how I can get involved in the class action lawsuit??

Hey I was in the same situation in Denver.  I got a loan modification when I got 6 months behind on my mortgage.  CITI approved the loan modification via my attorney Option Mediation. I made the three payments, but when I sent in the 4th one they never cased the check and then said, "We have sold your loan to another company."  I now forget the name of the other company, but when the forclosure started, I got legal papers from CITI.

Do you have any suggestions?  Should I hire a local attorney to sue CITI or join the class action suit.  My email is Alangay999@gmail.com

Ditto here. in the middle of filing my 3rd set of modification papers and citimortgage sold to veriquest. I'm disgusted with the whole thing. Ready to tear up the house and tell them to come get the keys!
