Got a call from (800) 503-3855. Ethnic voices of some kind left a sexual implicit message "that they were going to make me feel good". Absolutely unexpected and disgusting. They are using my maiden name so I wonder how they got this information.

I just purchased a new Sprint phone and this number has been calling me twice a day, around 8 am and 10 am since day one.  I've answered and get a recording that says "if you are (name), please press 1, if not, press 2."  They never say who they are.  I've pressed 1 just to see who it is that keeps calling me and it just keeps repeating the message over and over.  Since it's toll-free, I called them and it is a collection agency.  I obviously have someone's old phone number.

Call Federal Trade commission I did they stop,or they pay you a $1,000

This collection agency calls speratically 3 to 4 times a week.

I got a call from this number and did not identify themselves.

Yea they call me, "sincereone" tipped me off with the GEMB... I'm sure they cover a lot of things, but they're calling me...cuz of JC Penney's... :o/

I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly for the past week, sometimes early in the morning. When I pick up, I hear, "Please hold while we locate a representative to assist you," and then it hangs up. When I call back, I get a busy tone, even at the crack of dawn. I'm convinced the busy tone is bogus, since it sounds pre-recorded and there is no reason that it would be busy 24/7.

Something fishy is going on around here...

Calls often we don't know who they are or what they want. Would like it stopped....

Calling my private cell number, leaves no message.

Ridiculous!

This number has called me many times and usually there's no one there - this a.m. (SAT at 8 a.m.!) they called but this time it was a machine asking for a name similar to mine but not me.  Said to press 1 to speak to rep, 2 if wrong number, etc.  I pressed two and got another stupid message telling me to press 3 if wrong number.  I did that and it said 'thank you' and disconnected.  

Obviously a bill collector -- they seem to think I am this JERMAINE now,  so these collection agencies are using something called 'skip tracing' wherein they check all the names starting with "J" with same last name (as mine) in a particular territory.  As I am in a huge city, this means a lot of people are getting these calls for the jerk who owes money, JERMAINE, if that's even his name.

Now that I've finally been able to press the 'wrong number' button they offered, we'll see how many more times they call.   This happens so often it's not amusing anymore -- different collectors ask for JAMES, JANE, JANET,  JOHN, JIMMY, AS WELL AS 'JERMAINE.'    If I could get my hands on "Jermaine" or whoever this jacka** is, he'd be REALLY sorry.

Phone rang once then stopped.  I never answer calls from people I don't know and my message on the answering machine says.  No message was left.  Looks like these people would get a hint.

They kept asking me to press 1 to hold over and over again.  It was a recording asking for a name that I could not understand.  But it definately wasn't me.

I have a nextel phone and have for about seven years now and my credit is excellent.  I guess this was a misdialed phone number. The service s sprint though.

If they do call again I will call the ftc but frst try back them and tell them to stop..  I just figured it was one of those telemarketers who call and leave no message.  I am on the do not call list too but I guess they are exempt.  Crazy government we have huh.

There is a guy in california who got a bunch of spam calls, became a lawyer, and sued the bejesus out of these people and won a lot of money.  I think it was on sixty minuters a few years back.  I do not recall his name.

This number called at least twice a day and never leave a message since I don;t answer calls from unknown number you would think they would get the hint, not waste their time calling.

This # has been calling me for 2 months - 3 to 4 times a day, including Sundays.  Called the number and finally able to speak with "Susan Ritter" - she said they are Monarch Recovery Service - but would not say who they were recovering for;  said they were calling for a "Jose" - I've had my same cell # for over 10 years - and no Jose known by me.  Told them to take my # out of their system!  She said my cell # would be taken out of their system in 24 hours -we'll see!
