Received a call looking for a Diane Roker from 800-652-7681.  Called numerous times. I never heard of a Diane Roker in my life.

This person called my cell phone and asked for me, and then asked to confirm my address (reading a certain address to me) without introducing herself! When I asked who it was, she said just her name (Danielle Hornes, I think) and said "this is regarding a personal business, and I need to confirm that that is your address before I can continue". I said that I won't reveal any of my information to a stranger, and she rudely said "I already told you my name". So I asked whom she represents, since I don't know that name. And she said some two letters "Business" after which instantly went to demand that I confirm that address "to know that you are who you claim to be".
I said that I never heard her name, nor of the business she represents -- what that business is about (she did not want to say what it was) -- so I will not tell her any of my information. She said she already answered those questions, and said, "since you don't want to answer, I can not tell you about the personal matter that I am calling about, so here is my callback number. Call me if you have any questions at 1-800-652-7681. I'm Danielle Hornes. Bye."

Is a debt collector for home depot or citicard. They called me from what seemed a local # in my area code, I returned the call to find out this # was and gotforwarded to a call center in san diego? i live in ny? I tried to ask what this company was and they would not tell me, also asked their address and they gave me a texas po box# I was like. WTF! Very unprofessional scumbag approach to collect a debt, also I never. Got a letter from them about anything . Yes I do owe a debt but refuse to speak to any company ran that way.

I received a message (from my work place) to call this person Dillon Smith at 1-800-652-7681 x258.  Called this number and after one ring, an answering machine came on and said to leave a message after the tone....that's it!  Hmmmm, sounds kind of fishy to me. I won't call back.

Called from local number left message to call back. Refused to tell me what company/business name was when I called back. Wanted personal information. Very rude when I refused. Still don't know what the call was about.

Got a call with a message left by a person named Megan Something - when called back a lady picked up and started - This is a recorded line , please state your full name ! I was surprised by this approach - don't know who they are.

Called and left a voice male stating my name and wanted me to call back?? No idea who that is.

A relative of mine was contacted to get my cell phone number, and , they refused. My relative asked for their name and number, to which they were given Virginia Pitman (probably false) and 1 800 652 7681. I then called this number and asked if this was Virginia Pitman which was answered yes, and asked what was wanted. "Virginia Pitman" said that she needed my birthdate and social security number. I told her that I would give my birth date but nothing else. She replied that I was the wrong "Mac" and then wanted my relative's number to call them back to take me, "Mac" off her list. I replied that you have their number because you called them. She said that that was not necessary as they would not call back and would take my name off her list. I probably should not have even given her my birth date, which may have satisfied her needs.

Left me a voicemail: "Hi this is Brandon Jan, please give me a call back at 800-652-7681 extension 228 thank you". I have no idea who that is. They keep calling from 415-413-4083 but this is the first time they left a message.

This number came up on I'd called as 419-318-1832. But left message to call back at 800-652-7681. Callers name was Jose [Mexican name]

The call appears as local call ( actually many different numbers with the same local area code). The message is “ This is for Timothy Pitman and this is Selena Ross please call me at 1-800-652-7681 extension 164”.  All with the same area code and the same message. Never answer and block the number.

This is a debt collector called GC Services.  They call numerous times a day from a local number just stating my name and to call back Jordan Fisher.  I finally called the number back a lady answered and said they were trying to reach me.  I asked what this was regarding and she said a personal matter.  I confirmed I was the person they called for and they wanted to transfer me to the person that called.  I told them talk to my attorney.

I received a mdg from a Diane claiming that she was from Verizon - the # that showed on my caller ID was 602-714-1924 (I checked and it looks like it is a Verizon #, however, I've never had an account with Verizon.

Rec'vd VM from (1800) 652-7681 from Rebecca Cortez.. Called back with no answering or avali.

Caller ID shows as GCS and the area code is same as mine. A woman left a voice message saying "This message is from *inaudible*... a debt collection company, please call me at 800-652-7681."

Caller left message for someone else wanting a call back to an 800 # but caller I’d was a local #, called back to inform them they had the wrong # and the guy was rude and unfriendly and stated I was a liar You must be a contact person for the other person which I do not know. Advised them I don’t know this person and to stop calling or they can talk to my lawyer next time.

I received a suspicious call from an "Alan Wilson" with caller ID showing a local number but the call back number left in the voicemail was 1 800 652 7681. Person spoke with confidence and monotone urgency for contact, just the need for call back. No indication for the reason for the call, or what company or matter it was regarding. Based on this thread, I'm guessing it's phishing scheme of some sort. But others need to be aware. Im in CA. Call came from San Diego area, same area code as my phone number.
