This number is a Bell Mobility Customer Service line, i called them and it is an automated message explaining that they tried calling you.  I called earlier (by dialing *611) and the connection was lost, i guess i missed their return call.  Anyways, there's your answer

J'ai reçu un appel d'un certain Robert Tremblay de Bell Mobilité. Ce monsieur demandait de confirmer mon numéro de téléphone à la maison et mon type de cellulaire. Il m'informait que je pouvais changer de forfait et que j'avais droit à un crédit. Lorsque je lui ai demandé combien le crédit, alors il en avait aucune idée. Je lui ai demandé s'il travaillait réellement pour Bell Mobilité? Il était embarrassé de répondre, mais si c'était un employé, alors pourquoi il n'avait pas ce genre de renseignement? Ce n'est pas très rassurant de se faire harceler par Bell Mobilité avec des employés très mal préparé. Honnêtement c'était très douteux!

18006614858 Bell Mobility keeps calling me and we have not had their service for many years and do not owe them any money.  I reported them to National Do Not Call List and the CRTC on which I noticed that they have been given huge fines for calling people.  I called the number back and got a recording saying that this is a not reply number.  Come Bell get the hint you are not wanted because of your high prices.  DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!

Aucune possibilité de les rejoindre directement, et surtout ils appellent sans laisser de message, je quitterai le service dans un mois, fini de me faire flouer...

Portons plainte au CRTC

Appeller le service a la clientele chez Bell ,leur demander de vous mettre sur la liste de non appelant

et le tour est jouer

C'est bel et bien Bell Mobilité et il s'agit d'une campagne pour les clients. Bell appelle tous les clients dont les contrats expirent pour leur offrir un nouveau plan plus avantageux en échange d'un renouvellement de contrat.

Pourquoi est-ce si grave que ça pour vous tous? Canceller votre service parce que la compagnie vous appelle pour vous offrir un renouvellement?!? Dites simplement non!!!

Si vous annulez votre service pour cela, aussi bien ne pas avoir de cellulaire du tout, car toutes les compagnies le font.

bien content d'avoir cherché a savoir ce numéro et d'être arrivé ici,,,
Ça fait plus de 2 ans que j'ai pas de contrat, et ils me bombardent d'offres, c'en est une habitude!!!!
Mais, contrairement a Martin, je ne changerai pas pour autant,,,
Mon service est satisfaisant pour mes besoins, et je sais que c'est tous semblable.
alors depuis 2 ans je dis non, j'ai fait d'autres changements sur mon forfait, dont doubler mes minutes pour 0.50 cents.
Et probable que bientôt, je prendrai un appareil neuf pour un contrat de 2 ans. Faudra le prendre ailleurs anyway.
Donc, y'en a pas d'problème.
Quand même boggant de recevoir ce genre d'appel sans interlocuteur, ça, j'leur enlèverais ben,,,,

They call me at least 2 times a day for the last 2 weeks and never leave a message

The people call from this number but no one is on the other end of the line. This is very irritating.

Don't they realize that we pay for our phone service, for our use not theirs.
Have reported them to DNCL but don't know what good it will do.
One day it's Telus bugging us now it's Bell Mobility.  Good Grief !!!!!!!!

This was an Alberta government web conference call. More harassment for them!!!!

I was in the middle of class and I received a phone call from this number. I, knowing full well that none of my family would call at that time simply removed the battery to prevent redialing. Just this morning, I was happily dreaming and sleeping in on the weekend when they get the brilliant idea to call again the next day a full hour earlier. I did not reply, and having a cellphone, simply stopped the ringing and ignored the call.

Whoever these people are, and they seem to be bell from the other comments, they have the same audacity as telus to send unsolicited calls during my school hours. Telus, my provider puts a limit at sending text messages, so I only receive a nice beep that doesn't catch the attention of everyone in class. This number, however, ignored my unlimited texting plan and called, which is a nuisance for me in multiple ways.

This number seems to be a scam in which they impersonate Bell representatives. If you are concerned about anything they say, speak with a Bell official by finding their official number on the website: http://www.bell.ca/

j'ai recu ce coup de fil aussi, il est efectivement un peu tard pour répondre mais temps qua lire aussi bien répondre.. ( si je suis venu ici c que je me demandai quel étai ce numéro qui me harcelai ... ) oui c'Est CHiant.. mais la 1ere fois c'étais un homme de bellcourtoisie. il mon dit éffectivement que je pouvais changer mon forfait Pour que sa me coute moin cher et effectivement sa me coute environ 2x moin cher, ce qui est plutot stupid de leur part c'est quils ont attendu environ 5 mois avant la fin de mon contrat qui fini au mois d'octobre alors oui d'un coté stun arnaque mais de l'autre .. pas du tout.

Just had it call my Bell cell phone.   Let it go to voicemail, and they didn't leave a message.

They constantly call me daily. I refuse to answer. They don't leave voice mail. I'm getting rid of my Bell phone next month.

They call my cell all day every day - and when I hit Ignore they call back - I do not wish to speak to Bell Mobility about any products or services- I am prepaid cellular only

I too received several calls from 1-800-661-4858 and never answered until last night just to see what it was about.

The person told me he was contacting me for Bell Mobility to offer me a new plan wich would save me money each month.
I told him I didn't have time to take this call cause I was on my way out ( wich I truly was ) so he asked me if it was ok to call back next week and I told him yes.

After I hung up I dialed *611 ( Bell Mobility ) and talked to an agent and asked her if 800-661-4858 was a Bell Mobility line wich it is. I told her what had happened and that an agent called me to offer me a new plan and I wanted to know if it was leggit and she told me it was.

She checked my file and had a note wich stated they ( 800-661-4858 ) had called me and since I was in a hurry they were to call back in a few days to offer me a new plan, wich is, to say the least, really interesting.

They've been calling me for 5 days in row, when I answer, nobody talks
