They left a message in regards to an alleged debt that they are screwing up on constantly

These people put a yellow envelope on my front door, the envelope looks stern with bold black letters that simply states/ inportant information: call this number, have your account information ready,  DMI...is hand written in the company name slot.
I have zero dealings with any company with the initial of DMI....
I SMELL A "SCAM" some dirt bag is trying to ruin CHRISTMAS  for someone's family!

i just got the same thing on my door and it looks like a scam who has serious ideas about our mortgage. just wanna know if there a scam company.

I was behind 2 months on my mortgage. I paid it and 2 days after the payment I received a stupid yellow door tag not explaining anything. Just to call a number. SOB's can kiss the crack of my ars.

I'm sitting on my couch this afternoon breastfeeding my daughter & I see a car pull up to my house. I didn't recognize the car or the man that was driving the car. I noticed that the man was taking pictures of my house with his phone. He gets out of his car & takes more pictures of my house. Then he walks up to my house takes more pictures & leaves something on the door. He notices me sitting on the couch and walks away. But he took more pictures of the other side of my house before he walks back to his car. The man looked extremely sketchy. & we don't even have a mortgage with these people

Phone rang twice I picked up & said hello. Automated response "Please hold on for an important message to the owner of this number" and then it dropped the line and I got a dial tone.

i recieved a phone call from these people claiming to be my mortgage company and that my january payment was due. 1st payment is not due yet, 2nd the amount was to low for my typical mortgage when i said my mortgage was not through there company they quickly apologized and hung up the phone.

I can tell you it isn’t a scam. It’s from your mortgage servicer. They send out sub contractors to deliver door cards. They are are because the person is behind on their mortgage.

DMI is probably Dovenmuehle Mortgage Inc/Insurance/?
They are connected to my CHAFA loan on my place. Usually CHAFA calls me but today it was this number. No message was left. Tempted to call them back

Likely scammer, put me on a robocall asking for my Social Security Number

They call repeatedly for someone else, and we ask them to DO NOT CALL!

DMI is a mortgage sub-servicer.  If you have a mortgage, they may be contracted by your lender to service your loan.

Got one of those envelopes on my door to. I rent the condo I'm living in. I'm assuming it's meant for my lamelord. I had a feeling he's behind on mortgage..

Found yellow card on door. I called don’t know the company or what acct number they ask for. And certainly not giving them my ssn. So I guess I’ll do nothing and wait for tgem to contact me again if they do?

It sure is a scam, never heard of them, my mortgage is up to date and when i call the number they cannot even tell me who my mortgage company is, told her to [***] off and hung up

Got a card on my door saying it was from DMI. Called the number on the care and it said it was a mortgage servicer. Something didn’t sound right, so I hung up and called the number I always call for my mortgage. She said it wasn’t from them and my mortgage is is good standing.

I'm sorry but we have no mortgage and it still happened.
