1-800-688-7929 calling from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM every few days.  They hang up when I answer. I'm on the do not call list.  I have an unlisted and protected number via court order. I've only had this number less than a month and now this person is harassing me non stop.  I've contacted my lawyer and phone company to track down the issue. So far a trap and trace is on the line and we will see where this goes.  As far as I'm concerned it appears to be a stalker and I will prosecute as such.

It is a collection agency. Typically works with Paypal

These people call CONSTANTLY and are rude when I call them to let them know it's a business line and not an individual. They are working from an autodialer.

Yes, I received a ton of calls from this number as well as 5 other numbers traced back to the same bill collectors working on behalf of ebay and paypal. I learned a great trick to get them to stop calling, so pass it on:

Save all of the different numbers in your phone of different bill collectors. Using conference call, speaker and mute, call each one and put them into a five-way conference call with your end muted. Each one asks who is this, can I help you, etc. etc. and then eventually hangs up. As each one hangs up, redial and connect them again. I know they know it's my number calling, and that's good!
Since I've been doing this every few days, they NEVER call me anymore, in fact, it's my hope that they block my number from their system entirely.

Plus, it's funny as crap to hear them try to figure out how they got connected to each other.

I have received many calls from this number and do not owe anyone money.  The computer that calls leaves an ID number along with the phone number provided.  I called them and asked who they are trying to reach.  They gave me the name of someone I do not know and who probably had my current phone number before me.  They agreed to stop the calls to me.  So much for the problem.

I receive 2-3 calls each day from an auto dialer identifying themselves as MCS Financial Systems, a debt collection agency. Since I declared Bankruptcy in 2011 I have no debts past due. How do I get these people to stop calling without opening a can of worms by actually calling them back and admitting that I had whatever debt they are chasing was discharged?.
