Got a computer recording asking to enter my CC number.

This turned out to be a scavenger collection company that buys old write-offs and attempts to collect the old debt by implying that criminal charges are about to be filed

wow, i wish mine was old, it really gets to me when people blog people from a collection agency calling a to collect debt that we know we took out, Pay your bill please people. and stop making the agency out to be the ones who are wrong, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why did you borrow the money if you could not pay it back,??!! now the agency is wrong for collectiong it a debt you created. who does that.

Called business, telephone recording stating that Social Security Number had been used for fraud.  Did not give name of person that are wanting to talk to.  This is a SCAM!!!!!  

I called number back just to find out what company they are claiming to be - Answering machine states GFF (Love these companies that use initials so people can't verify the company).

Don't give any information to these SCUM, hang up on them....they are TIME WASTERS who need to get real jobs!

got a call at work & on my cell phone, with my old name..it's a recording, and they leave a number with an ext, but when i call back it says the mail box it full. it's weird, bc i actually have no debt. and that hasn't been my name for over 3 years..scam scam. if they say they're coming for you people they can't do that. i know for a fact, because i asked my attorney friend. it's a scam they just want to collect money

Today, I am in Oklahoma City, OK on my job I got a call from a female from 877 394 7585 she said someone is using my social security number fraudlently.  And I need to call 800 691 8323 now what kind of fool would
call a debt collection agency and get my butt chewed out big time and then I would get stressed out
and my blood pressure would go up and this is all on my job.  What kind of stuff is that why can't she just
say I am collecting a debt and this is who I am and this is what I want.  Why isn't there a law against this
people using dramatic scare tactics getting people all stressed out.  I am not calling that phone number if
they want me they can write me a letter. I am on my job and every phone call is recorded nation wide for
many people all over the world to hear.  I feel like this women was wrong she should not call people on their
jobs if they get fired then she surely would be out of luck because of her stupidity calling people at work.
