I got a call from this number wanting to talk to me.  they told me (on my machine) that it was VERY important I call them back today!! and gave me thier business hours.  Every time I get a call I do not know, I enter it here, and always find out it's a scam.

i just recieve a call from 1 800 732 4504, i lied and said i wasn't home (i pretended to be someone else) and asked to take a message. they gave me the phone number (above number) and said to ask for patricia. im afraid to call them as people have stated on other sites that these people are rude, will not tell you what company they are from, and they want your personal info, mainly your social security number. i am only 23, and do not/have not owned or rented anything, so i figured this has to be a scam.

Scam - they both called and paged me several times.  When I called back to find out what who the company is, the woman was very rude and told me it was FCS, but refused to tell me what it was about because I wouldn't verify my telephone number.

I received a call this morning 9/29/09 from this #. The woman sounded very official and demanding would not tell me anything about the company and demanded that I tell her my social security# when I refused to tell her she rudely hung up.

This is a definite scam. IF you have received calls from this telephone number, email the FCC.

Do not respond at all. Do not give them any information. Do not even confirm your name. They will ask for the last four digits of your social security number.

In the email, be sure to list the telephone number AND document any interaction with them. THE BEST STRATEGY is to document calls, email FCC, and do not converse at all with the scam artists.

Keeps calling and hanging up.

I received a call from 800-732-4504.  When I answered the phone she seemed all nice and polite and asked if still receive mail at my current address.  I told her randomly, she then asked for the last 4 digits of my social to that I asked the name of her company.  She said SCS so I asked what it stood for.  She said she could not give out information without confirming who I am. I told her the same thing.  She got rude and asked what could be done with the last four of my social. I said what can I do with the name of your company.  She then mumbled something about going ahead with something on me then hung up.  I went to the Texas attorney general's website and read about my rights as a consumer. Seems like I have nothing to worry about.

I have gotten this no. 3 times this evening. Not gonna answer a call unless I know who it is. They have left voice mail but no name.

Call came up unavailable so we dont answer.....

I just received a call from 1-800-732-4504 I answerd and they hung up. I called back and said someone at his number called my house, she asked is this (my name) and i said who is this she says fcs I said what do u do she said we r a finacial institution and asked my name again , I askd her if fcs does tellemarketing. She said no we don't do that i said what do u do then?She asked me to verify my name again, I wouldnt confirm so, she hung up! she was also very snarky with me

Since I lost my job, I've had some credit problems and have had to deal with collection companies, but never, ever one that required my SS# (even the last 4 digits). I agree that they are rude and will give you NO information until they get what they want. If they're that interested, then they can send me a letter.

they keep calling for Toni Fisher and have been told several times she DOES NOT live at this # but they just keep calling and won't tell you where or who they are.

got 2 phone calls in a row from 2 different very rude people they were asking for my brother he lives in FL. I live in IL how did they get my number looking for my brother.

I received numerous calls from this number and asking for me by a name only my family calls me.  I never use that name because it's a name used only by my family members and my legal name was never used by the people calling for me.  My parents are seniors and do not need this type of harassment.  Obviously they didn't even have a correct number to reach me.  THIS IS A FRAUD!!! REPORT THESE PEOPLE AND LETS GET THEM BEHIND BARS!!! They will not give you the company they represent or a name from the company from which they are calling.

I just got a call from this number and the guy asked for me by a name that i NEVER use.. i asked what the call was regarding and he said he couldn't give me that information until i told him my address and last 4 of my social!! He said his name was Kenden Johnson. He said that they sent me a letter a month ago addressed from Arkansas... I do not recall anything sent to me from Arkansas and he was rude at that and said he can NOT give me any information until i verified who i was... I said well what name do you have and he again said the name i NEVER use and i then asked  if there was another name for me on file and he said NO... I then asked him what the name of the company he worked for was and he said LC Services... Then hung up.. I have no clue what the hell is going on, but you will never get me to tell you my last 4 of my social,, I have never needed to for any reason and am not about to start! If you get a call from 800.732.4504 don't give them any information!!

Received a call on Tuesday June 21 from 800-732-4504 wanting information but would not give me information.

This is from First Collection Service, or FCS as others have reported. I am *not* the person they are looking for, but they still call relentlessly (up to 10 times per day) even after I have told them multiple times that I am not the party whom they are trying to contact. I have now had to send them a registered letter asking them to stop calling me.

If you ask a credit agency to stop calling you, they are required under law to honor that. If they continue to harass you, contact a consumer attorney. Many will take cases without a retainer fee in exchange for a percentage of damages collected.

This number called 2 days in row.  I believe it is a recording because it was impossible to interrupt.
All I got out of it was that it was a very important call for (unintelligible name), not ours,of course.  
My husband called back,told Miss Rude it was not anyone here she was looking for.  She hung up on him!  He called back immediately.  This time she told him she would remove our number from their list.  We'll see......tomorrow is another day.

caller to my home phone which does not have caller i.d.  asked to speak to me ( actually mispronounce my name) i ask who they are and i get the same answer a credit company they never say a collection just credt co. and because i will not give them my full name, ( they are confused as to the middle initial) they keep telling me by law they cannot tell me anything .ok so i say well you called me and i would like to know who you are , they get to the point where they talk over me and will not give me there number to call back to verify who they are . last person must have been a supervisor she got right to the point and was quit angry . anyway im aware of scams and such i figure if it was someone of importants they will call my cell or send me an actual letter in the mail .and i can always change my home number .
