they call asking for my grandson and don't give any reason why they are calling. since he is out of state I rerquest ifo and get no answer. So I don't provide any number where he might be.

This number keeps calling and asking for someone who doesn't live here.  Very annoying, we just don't pick up anymore.

they called and asked if I had any phone number, address or place of employment for someone I do know. However, they completely mispronounced his name.  A very common, non ethnic, WASP name.  Sorry, no.

I too receive calls from this Collection Agency and they are trying to collect on the $1000 hospital ded. Medicare requires each and every time a Medicare patient has an hospital admission all year long. My wife is disabled due to a serious staph infection that this hospital gave her during surgery and she had been admitted there several times that yr. so she had a $4,000 ded. bill that Medicare did not pay that hospital. So the greedy hospital that almost put my wife in the grave now expects me to pay them 4 grand!!! I refuse so they have turned me over to this Collection Agency to call and harass us. So all you employees who want to justify working there harassing hard working Americans think about my case!!That hospital has been paid $380,000 by the health insurance company and they are stupid enough to think that I am going to pay them the balance. It ain't gonna happen. I don't care how many collection companies they hire!!!!!!!!!!!!

So just because Medicare paid a lot you think you shouldn't have to pay your $4000?????? Did you ever think if their were 100 other people like you with $4000 bills who didn't pay, thats $400,000 that the hospital isn't being paid. Guess what happens then? The prices go up, so it actually hurts the people that pay their bills, instead of deadbeats like you.

Yes, this is an OLD post, but people like this get under my skin. A $1,000 deductible for each hospital admission should be criminal. I'm guessing the other poster was a senior. Can you imagine how difficult those bills would be on a fixed income? Times are really rough, right now, sweetie. Have some compassion. Karma's a [***].
