Called- no message.

Got message claiming I was eligible for an electric discount but it was not my electric company calling

It is a PA electrical discount program.  They are trying to sell you on electric service.  Mostly these companies are a scam trying to switch you away from PPL since it was deregulated a while back.

Caller left message on machine.  Said we qualify for a reduced rate on our generation charge.

My caller used the alias of Wendy Powell. When pressed, they identified themselves as Power Choice, so they go by a lot of different names. It's a scam to get you to switch to their service.

Got voice message from this number a few minutes ago. Said it was in regard to my PP&L bill. I'm not even a PP&L customer. There is no end to this kind of scam.

Got a call. Left a message.  I called back and got a very rude individual on the phone.  Trying to get you to switch electric companies.  I got hung up on, so I called back and told them to add me to the do not call list.  Lady on the other end seemed very bummed.  I bet I get called again.
