- CastellanosCynthia F. called me on my cell phone while I was at work. She left a message that this is a personal matter that she would like to resolve. Please call her at 1-800-741-2100 her ext. 2207
- Call type: Debt collector
- SarahThey keep calling. They won't say why they're really calling, but to resolve something that isn't a problem (I know, weird.)
- LeahI have gotten a few calls. They never say what they want just that its important that I call them back.
- COLLECTORThis is a collection agency - they will keep calling till reported to the FTC {Federal Trade Commission } they don't care if u tell them not to call if it's not sent to them in certified ltr - there was no proof -- there are attorneys out there that will rip a new rear end to these types of people stand up for ur rights sue if u need to they need to be taught a lesson or they will continue to do this 800-741-2100 Mrs Kramer @ 2971 is one of them - most don't use there own name it's assumed for collections but they are suppose to register their aliases when doing this in state of TX
- Caller: LTD FINANCIAL
- TishThey call me about 3 times a day but never say what they want only that they have some important business to discuss and it is vital that I call them immediatly. Its usually about the same message but different degrees of urgency depending on who calls
- Minnesota MikeThey never verified my identity. I had to ask the collector to give me the mini miranda required by the FDCPA. When i made a offer they rejected it and pulled back there original offer and when I asked them to cease our cell phone they replied they were not going to play games with me and ended the call on me.
This included a manager who said they talked to me (a 3rd party) not listed on account as a courtsey.
I call this breaking the FDCPA and both should lose there license to collect in Texas.- Caller: LTD
- GeorgiaI received the same calls every day except holidays. Mine was from a Mrs. Dillingham. I just don't answer it. This time they said it was a judgment and then near the end of the message she said it was to avoid a judgment.
Funny how she can't make up her mind.
If she would state which credit card or company, I may pick up the phone. But otherwise, why should I be stressed anymore than I already am by a rude person I don't know on the phone. - TracyFYI folks..... LTD is actually LTD Financial. I made the mistake of ordering books for my granddaughter through Scholastic Books and I now get to battle with them.
- Trouble Maker| 1 replyThis was posted for another phone # that LTD uses... boy, would I love to see these rude people get theirs! I checked, and it IS a law firm - not a scam... double check yourself using switchboard.com:

Caller: LTD Financial Services, LP - LaurieMessage that I received on today was to contact Ann Moore on an urgent matter and my maiden name was mispronounced by this caller. There was no company name or reason left for the call (800)741-2100, EXT.2963
- AllisonI have begun receiving consistent calls from this number with no message left. Simply dead air and then a hang up on my voice mail. I have no debts in arrears and there is no reason for them to be contacting me at all. Without this site I wouldn't even have known who was calling.
- A dudeOver the last few days I received several messages from 1-866-998-2500. The messages are always the same: someone called "Rhianna" asks for someone with a name similar to mine, requesting that I call back immediately to extension 6222 for a very "urgent matter".
It's not the first time they do this to me. Over the last year they have called at least three times. When I called back, they didn't provide much information, but said they were looking for someone with a name similar to mine, regarding a bill with a phone company I don't even use. As soon as I explain this to them, they hang up, not even letting me finish my sentence. Last time I told them not to call me again or I'll take it up with the state attorney. They did hang up on me in mid sentence.
They are rude, vicious, and engage in practices banned by the FTC. How do I keep them from harassing me or my family?- Caller: LTD Financial Services
- Christopher CatoVoice Mail Message "Very Important Matter" - undisclosed. First Name: Kimberly, Second: Mature(?) Sounds purposfully garbled.
- Caller: None Given
- just meThe number showed up on my cell as 713 414-2121. The message from a Ruby Jackson said to call her back at 800 741-2100 ext 2717. I dont know who they are and I dont call back unless they leave a company name and they didnt. I'll keep ignoring the calls unless they let me know who they are and what they want.
- AmandraI have been receieving a call from 1-800-741-2100 every single day and when I answer they hang up. Then today I received a voicemail from a woman saying she was Cynthia F, and that I need to call her back immediately for an urgent matter. Message was very garbled. Her ext was 2207. When you call back they ask you for all of your personal identification including your entire social security #. If you ask why they need the entire thing they say they need t omake sure your the correct person. They also ask for your address, mothers maiden name, and a credit card # with expiration date and security # on the back of the card. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUD! THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY! BEWARE!
- cindycalls but leaves no message.
- Caller: unknown
- frustratedcalling friends and family members, leaving messages on their machine for me. I call and tell them they have wrong phone numbers and are violating my privacy they get rude and start yelling on phone and hang up on me.
- francesThey call me 4 to 5 times a day on my cell phone from different numbers always telling me that i need to call this number 800-741-2100 ext 2831 immediately for a very important message. I don't call them back because they are rude and i am not going to give them any information, i feel that if i call you back and give you my phone number and my name that should be enough, remember they called me they should know who they are talking to and if they say well we need to verify who you are i tell them well i'll hang up and you can call me back when you know who your talking to that makes them mad.
- b chambersIdentical situation to those described above. Repeated phone calls. Apparently some dead beat used my phone number on a bad credit card. I am an attorney and if they continue after being ruqested to stop I am going to sue them.
- T MckeeThey called, and it was a recorded message.I called the number they left because they did not identify themselves they just left a cryptic message that it is very important they did not mention who the message was for (4) persons at home, what the matter was, who they are and who to contact there. We called and recieved their recording to please enter our parties extension now (we had no ext.#) what a flaky operation.
