keep calling for my 21 y/o son, refuse to leave a message

Called CQ phone at 0700 in the morning, didn't ask for a name, didn't ask for anything specific but insisted that "I" call the aformentioned number, in regards to a "Terrance Crawford".

I have received four calls on my cell phone today from this number, 866-622-7447, all of which I have not answered. The calls have been virtually on the hour... 9:11am, 10:11am, 11:12am, 12:12am. This last time someone finally left a message. I have it saved. Male voice, no accent. "Hi, my name is Terrence Crawford and I've got a very important message for you.  Please call me at 800-741-9922. Again, Terrence Crawford and I can be reached toll-free at 800-741-9922."

I called back 800-741-9922 and it is a collection agency called CCS.

I have received two calls from this person within 24 hours.  The message does not say who they are trying to reach.  The message left is the exact same (word for word) as the one left on jcoug1739's phone.  I do not have any bills in collection.  I have not received anything in the mail about past owed bills.  So, I'm going to ignore the message until they get on my nerves so much that I finally answer the phone and [***] them out.

They keep calling my house during the day when no one is home and the message is a british woman called "Lyndsey Magee" with a very important message.

This is a collections agency. My husband had bought some tools and neglected to tell anyone about it and suddenly rememebered that he did not pay for them, so the tool place put the account in collections, so they called. But yeah, it is a collection agency

A male named Terrance Crawford calls my cell four times a day leaving the 1-800-741-9922 message to call him. The number on the caller ID is 1-802-223-4969. He needs to stop calling.

I keep getting these calls and I don't HAVE a debt to be collected. How do I make them stop?

if they keep calling from (1 800-741-9922 ) and do not identify what they are then they are violating the FDCA....they must identify they are a collection agency if so....other wise they are misleading the consumer....if possible record/save the messages because this is a form of harrasement u may have legal grounds..go here: http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/

They call me 3 times a day. I live in Oklahoma City. Probaly  T-Mobil assiged me the number that was previously owned by some one.

Does not identify  itself; calls repeatedly - 3, 4 times a day.

I get periodic calls from these guys. It's always some ghetto lady claiming I have a debt from helio, the former cell phone company. What's funny is they were calling my friends number first because they didn't have mine until he gave them my number. They quote me different debts owed everytime I call and I told them there is no way owe this because I was on auto-pay with helio. She said she would notate the account. She said good luck. Rude as hell. are they legitimate or not?

HA, im getting the same call for helio. i canceled them as soon as i got helio. I had all my funds returned after some work and now they say i owe money, The amount is never consistent. They dont have all my info correct. werid stuff. some lady who calls her self "miss..." always gets mad and hangs up. they seem legitimate but they can wave a fee they charge you for some reason im not sure of. but they read off the notes to me and they include all kinds of stuff i never said.

I am in a bankruptcy and there is no knew credit open outside of a car note that is in great standing. They say this is Christine Smith (What a common name) by the way I don't know a Christine Smith and I don't have a Credit opened with your automated Christine Smith so please stop calling....

caller does not state puropse of call only ID as cresrwood management. called 800 741 9922 and asked why they were calling and when I refused to provide a name ( my call was on Skype so has nol name) she refused to tell me anything. Whe n  I stated "by law you must ID  on initial call that you are a collection agency" she stated "You do not know what you are talking about" and hung up.
I have deputed a HELIO closed account and have never received anything in writting about my dispute. Account was closed in Feb. 2009
