Called 8/3/2010 at 6:15pm, 8/4/2010 and 8/5/2010 during middle of the day. I'm sure it'll continue. It's a recorded message that starts randomly in the message, gives no information and doesn't say who it's for, although there is an elaborate scheme of pausing 3 seconds to allow the intended person to agree it is for them, pick up the phone and listen. Right. Our number is on DNC list.

Voicemail says
"Thank You for calling Progressive Financial Services" and something about a debt collection.
Well, I do have Progressive Insurance, but this is definitely not the number for them. Plus, my insurance is paid in full.
The voicemail also has quite a few pauses for "identity verification".
Lame.

This company has been calling in regards to an ex employee. We called to speak with the supervisor name Dominic & he said our numbers will be removed. Their number is 800-761-0297 dialed 0#.

progressive financial services.  starts out as an aggressive debt collectin message and ends by offering debt consolidation. phishing garbage auto calls.  i wish i could find the person that set this up and get 5 minutes in their automated caller phone server room with them...

Called me at 8:30 p.m. stating they were "progressive financial services" a debt collection agency and wanted me to pay a bill for Comcast a cable company from Pensacola, FL of $136.  I've never had comcast and I haven't lived in FL in over 6 years -  but they had a lot of my information.  I thought it was soliciting and only stayed on the phone to try to get them to take me off the list.  The guy's name was "Nick" and he also had the extension 3518.  I told him I would not pay anything I did not have a statement for; he is "faxing" a statement tomorrow and if there is more information of where it came from we'll report to the police and/or BBB.

This # is from Progressive Financial and they handle collections for several companies, one of them is Target.
