Who is this???

they call all the time leave know message. or when i do answer the hang-up

They call, ask for my son who is away at college, won't identify themselves & hang up abruptly

Keep getting this call, no message on machine.

They call often and no one is there when I pick up. They last called 12/17/10 at 7:45 PM

I called them back. It's Fifth Third Bank . I told them if they don't stop calling me and hanging up I'd call them constantly just to talk cause I'm retired, lonely, and I order stuff on the internet just so I can talk to the UPS guy. I told them I'd call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back and call back. I think maybe they don't want to talk to me anymore.

Call constantly.  Too terribly irritating.

They call all the time.  We never answer.  They should just give up.

Won't stop calling

This number keeps coming up on the Caller ID but they never leave
a message.  I called back just to see who it was and it said welcome
to Fifth Third Bank. So my guess is it is some type of solicitation.
If it were important I am sure they would have left a message.

this makes 3 today.!  More spam, I would guess.

Had a phone call - did not say his name (line somewhat crackly) and was telling me about a new card - did I still live (gave me my address)  - did I own or rent - then asked me to verify my birthdate - I told him he would KNOW my birthday.

Got call from the # today asking for hubby.  I asked if I could help but the lady just said no, they'd call back later.  Must be they are on a cycle of calling about something.  Says it's Fifth Third when you call the # back.

Finally answered this call after they've called repeatedly over the past week. I gave in because the caller id reflected a name that calls from should be legit. Called to talk to us about the new DUO card. I told her we were not interested and to remove us from the call list and was politely told we would be, although our number may be on other lists... ???? I'm so ticked off right now that I answered.

keep calling, and we don't answer.  maybe it's time to give up on fifth third and switch banks

I get this call daily from this number, several times a day.  The last straw was when my phone rang today at 4:15am (ughhhhh)

get calls from this number everyday now, screw u. 5th/3rd, they don't have free checking anyhow

Just called  1-800-767-8645; It was Fifth Third Bank , so he says;  was told that the call may be a recorded message to have me apply for a credit card. I let him know that I was not interested in a credit card, then he ask if I had accounts with Fifth Third Bank, I let him know that I did have a checking and Savings account with Fifth Third, then he ask if I would like to opt out of the 800 ad calls. I said yes, please remove my name from the automated calls from Fifth Third Bank. Then he ask for my Name, Account numbers, and Social Security number, when I told him that I was not stupid and would not give him this information over the phone, he simply said , thanks for calling Fifth Third Bank and hung up.
