This call is from Cash-land. Either you haven't paid them your cash advance or your check bounced. I suggest call them back and set up payment because it will be reflected on your credit eventually.

Would anyone like some cheese with all that whining you guys are doing.  Cashland is a payday loan store.  All the company is trying to do is to get back the money that they lend out to debtors who find ways to take advantage of a situation.  These debtors will walk into the store, smile in your face, sign a legally binding contract, and then afterwards get mad because the company has to make calls on debtors accounts to get what rightfully belongs to them.  Bottom line, don't borrow what you can't afford to pay back in two weeks.  If you was to go into Kroger right now and write a bad check, how long do you think Kroger is going to wait before they decide to sue your a**.  Unfortunately for the people who don't realize it, and this goes for the younger generation, writing bad checks is considered a crime, and it also affects your credit down the line.  So, go ahead, ignore them, don't pay your loan back and see what happens.  Ten years down the line, you're going to want to better your situation, possibly move into a house that you really like.  What's going to stop you?  Writing bad checks!  You see, on down the line, writing bad checks is going to hender you from doing the simple things that you want to do, like opening up an account at the bank for yourself or your young child.  So pay up!  This will help you out in the long run.  Have some type of integrity for your actions people!!!!!!!!!!!!

One more thing.  Please don't get me wrong.  I feel sorry for these people who are being used as references on these debtors accounts.  They are receiving calls because these debtors are too irresponsible to either pick up the phone and return cashland's call, or they're too irresponsible to go into the store and handle their business.  So, if you're being used as a reference by a loved one or a dead beat friend, you might want to check them the next time you see them and tell them to stop putting your name down on these applications.  That's all folks!!!!!!!!!!

they tell me i owe them $780 and telling me i am lying about my age, date of birth, and that i am lying about owing this debt, telling me i keep giving them wrong numbers, telling me i have had my phone disconnected at my home to avoid them, how he got a work number for me i have no clue i work in a restricted area, he has got me so frazzled i cant even pay attention here, if i owed a debt i would take care of it as i always have, i figure its either a scam or my ex has something to do with this, it wouldnt be the first time, if he calls again i am going to demand he tell me where and what store he is calling from and he better have videotape and the check i supposedly have given him that bounced to accumulate this debt, as i want to confront this bum face to face and show him who is the real lyer, and then i will go to my lawyer and sue his little butt and own advance america or wherever this phone number is from.

I was called while I was away. A message was left to call them back about my son William Mills. I don't have a son by that name & my name is not Mills! So I call back and press 1 for English. {What the hell is this!} I then put in ext. 3956 and Brea or something like that answers & puts me on hold then finally she comes back and want's my name & number. I told her you called me surely you must have it & I refused to give it to her & that is when they get nasty. If they call again I will report them to the police & file a complaint.

For the guy who said they are just trying to collect there money. SCREW YOU & THEM TO BECAUSE MY GUESS IS YOU WORK THERE A & ARE ONE OF THE DIP [***] MAKING THE CALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are being called by this # it's because you owe money or someone who does put you down as a reference.  If you was left as a ref call them back and tell them that I am sure they don't want to talk to you anyway.  If you are the one owing the money I would say PAY YOUR BILLS! Duh you borrowed money from them pay them back and you wonder why they call all the time hello captain obvious if someone borrowed money from you and they ignored you I am pretty sure you would do more than call and tell them to pay up.  They are not supposed to be nice they are "Collectors" and I am sure they get sick of hearing excuses for losers who are poor at budgeting money. That is your problem not theirs.  I know they can garnish you wages or ach your account so I would not ignore it for sure.

i got a call from a "kay" about some guy named christopher divish, or gibbish, or something. i've had my phone/number for several years. i called back, and talked to kay. she was very nice, and i explained what had happened. i further informed her that saying she's calling about "a very important matter" and not explaining what it was sounded very fishy, and that i almost didn't call her back until i googled the number and saw it was a collection agency. she deleted (or said she did) my number from their records. time will tell, but i'm assuming this was just a case of someone giving her a false number or a typographical error. it was pain free, and accusation free.

Someone named Kevin from this number x3376 keeps calling and leaving messages on my work voicemail for a person I've never heard of.  I've been at this number for TWO YEARS and they have been calling on and off that entire time.  I have no idea who the person is they are looking for.  I finally called the number and talked to the guy and told him I had no idea who the person was he was looking for, that I had been at this number for two years.  All he did was keep harassing me that since I am at the same company as whoever he's looking for said they were at that I must know where this other person is.  This is round three of doing the same thing.  I finally screamed into the phone DONT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN and hung up.  Hope I busted the a**hole's F*cking eardrum.  At least it gave all my co-workers a laugh.

If he continues to call I'm just going to keep calling back and screaming at him.  That will stop it eventually ... again.  I recommend to everyone getting calls that have no connection with whomever these as*holes are looking for do the same thing.  They try to intimidate you.  Scream your a** off at them and hang up.  And for God's sake don't be stupid enough to give them your name or any other information other than the name of the person they left on the message and the phone number they are calling that's incorrect.

very mature you are... if he calls again send him to your human resources  or a manager, they could tell him that whoever he's looking for, possibly doesnt work there anymore. period. no ones trying to intimidate anyone, but you being a dick is gonna have him being a dick back to you.
