who is this and what do you know about them?

Finally picked up the phone & this number belongs to a research firm wanting your email address etc, gave them an old address & supposedly after I fill out the first questioneer, they are going to mail me $10.  Time will tell

Knowledge Networks is a survey company. Businesses and organizations hire them to conduct surveys. The surveys are conducted through their website so if they're calling you it's because they want to recruit you to be a part of their survey team. It's completely anonymous. Only KN knows who you are and they don't want anyone tampering with their membership. In return for filling out surveys, you get points. These points can be redeemed for raffle entries or saved up for cash. I've been a "panel member" for a couple of years now and I'm happy with them.

Legitimate company.  If you don't want to take part in the surveys, simply ask to be taken  off their call list, and they will oblige.  For those that have the time and interest the surveys are fun and you can earn a few bucks too.

This number belongs to a survey company called Knowledge Panel. They are a legitimate company. I've been takey their online surveys for about 4 years now. AND... YES... there are surveys where you are eligible to recieve cash rewards for your time. They mail a check to you and it usually arrives within 3-4 weeks after you complete the survey(s).

they do send you the money for doing the survey...after i did it they send me a check for 10 bucks...i couldn't believe that one of these places actually existed.

I came here to look up some missed calls.  I have been taking online surveys with them for over a year but have never received a phone call.  By they way, totally legit company - i'm not worried about that.

I am a new member of knowledgepanel and just filled out a survey for Getting to know me.... and told them to send me 10$ cash.

I have been with them for a few years now and have got over $600-$1000 from taking surveys.

Totally legit company.  I already earned over $200 since joining last year just for doing the survey:)

Kudos to you for that amt of $$.   I've been faithfully doing their surveys for close to 18 months and have received one check for $10.00 - right after I signed up.    Absolutely nothing since.

After your initial check, you have to keep track of your "points" and then redeem them for cash or other items. 25000 points = $25.

Just echoing the other comments- this is a totally legit company. I've gotten some money from them and several free movie tickets, and next week I am going for an in-person interview that will take 1 hour of my time and will get me $75!

I thought it was bs also but they did send me an my son for answering questions on the internet an after the registration you only get points that can be used to get things like but only Amazon gift cards. It's hardly worth it.

Legitimate company did a panel survey for Google and got paid for it. Not bad for just being on my computer at home doing what I normally do.

I just looked up the number to see who called me. I see it's knowledge networks. I've been a member for probably 20 years. They used to be called webtv many years ago. I do surveys for them. They are legitimate and a great company.

I also have taken the surveys for years and apparently if you miss one or two or are later than they'd like, they call with their concerns that "someone in the household is not completing their surveys".  They typically leave a message if nobody answers, but seem to have started this calling thing in past years or so.  It  is legit and they do pay you or let you trade points for goods/gift cards/etc.
