i recieved a call from this phone number. i had taken out a payday loan a few months back and i did not pay back when it was due.. i should have paid it back but i just could not offord it... now the amount i owe is alot more than what i barrowed.. VCS was helpful but not real fun to work with.. I hope I dont end up in this situation EVER again...

I received a call from 800-784-5089 on Wed March 4, 2015. This man did not identify himself or the company he was calling from. This call was for my daughter who has not lived with me in 7 years. I called the number and received a voicemail from Mike. No company name. All he said was to leave a message for him to call back. This is regarding a payment that was declined or presented to my daughters bank INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. I left him a voicemail that I was her mother calling back and I have worked for a Third Party Collection Agency for 14 years. According to the FDCPA, when leaving a third party message you have to leave your Name and Company name. First of all, how are you gonna receive a call back with no information except a number. If this is truly a collection agency their emoloyees need better training. Let's see if I get a call back on Monday from this Company. If this is my daughters payday loan, and this number is affiliated  with PD Home Group they will be getting sued. Due  to the FDCPA LAWS, I verbally ask for my number not to be called and sent them a cease and desist letter with a required signature. My daughter just may be getting this loan payed back with $0.00 from her pocket. This company is calling and skip tracing the wrong relative. Their Collection practices tacts are so illegal.  You can not say on a voice mail or to the debtor that a claim was filed in their county. Get real. Collection laws have changed and the FDCPA LAWS are  so strict that you can not go in the gray like we could 5 years ago. Debtors will retain an attorney in a minute if they feel they have been violated in any way. Your company better be careful if you are calling from PD Home Group. Bottom line is a Consumer will pay if and when they can. All a Collector can do is offer the resourses that they may not no or may have overlooked. This Mike Dremel calling from 800-784-5089 has his own department which is Deline Payments and Insufficient Fund Departments. No wonder the things they are saying to the consumer is forcing them to pay or be sued. Again, that is bad practice. Collectors will get paid and listened to a lot better if you put yourself in the consumers shoes for a minute. You know we have all had our set back. Thanks for reading. I needed to vent a little.
