They call just about every day. They don't leave a message.
I am on the Do Not Call list, but they keep calling anyway. - downtownThe automated message from 800 804 0057 calls about once a week for a person who does not, nor has ever lived here. I have called to let them know they have the wrong number, and always the offices are closed, no matter the time of the day.
Is there some regulatory body that can put a stop to this?- Caller: AMCA

- downtownMaybe this was already mentioned in earlier messages but you may file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry at:
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.
You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).- Caller: AMCA

- AmandaThis number called several times throughout the past few months and never left a message. After checking on here, I decided to give them a call back. They are a collection agency. She identified my first name, and told me that one of my medical bills (which she identified by company name and balance due) that I've been paying monthly has been put into collections. I explained to her that I've been paying monthly, and she checked her records. Apparently, the medical company sent her a notice that I had been paying them as well, identifying the date of my last payment to them. She said she would make a note in her records, and I can continue paying my bill with the original company as I had been, or pay the collection agency. I told her I'm going to continue what I'm doing. I don't understand why, if she has proof that I am paying the medical company, and that this is acceptable, they would bother calling me. Hopefully the calls will stop. I'm going to contact the medical company, too, just to make sure everything is OK.

- Mr. CAn almost sure fire way to get them to stop calling is to pay your medical bills on time. When they call me looking for someone else they take my number off the list and it stays off the list for about 4 months and then I get another call. Again, I tell them there is no one here by that name and to remove my number from their list and they comply. I have been told that the reason for that is it is a computer generated list to locate the party. So, the last time, I did my own little search, located the person they wanted, gave them the correct number and address and I have not heard back from them in over a year. I also report them to donotcall.gov. Pay your bills before they reach a collection agency, if at all possible.

- MaryThis is driving me CRAZY! I work nights, and so I'm not happy that they call and call and call ALL day while I'm trying to sleep. Bet they wouldn't like it if I called them at 2 am.
- caroline121I just received my first call from these people at 8:57 tonight. The number that called me was 800-804-0057 and the caller ID said "Telemarketing". I have not seen a bill from them. I admit I do have some medical bills that are in collections. They are from a few years ago when I was divorced and my then-husband was responsible for paying ALL the bills. As you can probably guess, none of them got paid and now just over three and a half years later, I am working on paying off the bills that I was responsible for in the divorce even though I am on workers compensation and have a significantly reduced income. I have obtained their address from their website.

- Lied to!I get calls from 800 804 0057 and when I am able to answer, they hang up every time. I called back the last time to find out what they wanted and a huge fiasco began. Besides being "disconnected" twice, I started asking for full names every time I called back and twice was given false names and was told I didn't need to know their last names so I wanted extensions. I talked to a "supervisor" who apologized and said they weren't supposed to give false names and that they would be looking into it. I decided to go online after calling back and getting yet another false name and see nowhere on either AMCA or RMCB has that phone number listed to call as alternative or otherwise. Besides that, I found out when I call in to make a payment that anyone takes the information but only the person in charge of my account can put it put it into my account and have been told I didn't make a payment that I know I made that apparently did not get recorded and they are trying to say I never made the payment. It is their incompetence that the payment didn't get recorded not mine but I have no way to prove it since it didn't get recorded except for a phone record that proves I called them on the day I made the payment. I am going to get the information to get in touch with the BBB and report them. Why should I give any more money to them when I can't even trust that I am speaking to someone legitimate who lies about their name? Plus the fact that the person who gave me a false name wanted me to give them my payment but when I called back to speak to that person because my husband said I could make a payment and found out they didn't exist, the next person I talked to and got their name said they couldn't take my payment, only the person who was over my account could do that. I have read it is illegal for them to give false names on top of wondering why this phone number listed isn't on either web site!

- ShannonI continue to receive calls almost daily from some RMCE for someone named Sylvester and I will do the courtesy of not posting a last name here. I receive these calls as late as 9 pm in the midst of my son's bedtime or even after!!! It is always a recording advising me to hang up if it isn't me. BUT THEN HOW WILL IT EVER STOP?? I always try to call back and it is closed or experiencing technical difficulties. How convenient for them. Now I get a call during Mothers Day!!! I know no one of the name Sylvester and am close to requesting a change of phone number and billing RMCE for any related fees to this inconvenience! I cleaned up my own credit and I am sick of being hounded by others credit issues!!

- db replies to AnnoyedI had a problem with this company..... I went and got lab work done thinking it was covered under my insurance and I received a bill and phone calls from AMCA. So I called my insurance and they are sending them a member explanation form so that I don't have to pay it, since it was covered. My claim is now on hold for 30 days. I called AMCA, again to confirm that it will be taken care of and they just talk in circles. I asked if it would be reported to my credit report she said NO and they will find out in 30 days if my insurance will take care of it. I didn't get an answers so I'll try back in 30 days to find out the outcome.
- SeanWhy must they call at 9PM or later? Does anyone out there actually conduct business during these hours? And why so random? Weeks go by with not a call, and then in one day there's like 3-5 calls. I also do not like to handle ANY financial business on the phone, ESP with a machine!

- Mark| 1 replyRMCB Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, Inc. They have a recording that tells you some random name to get you to call back. Then you sit on hold. No thanks.
They called on a Sunday. Father's day. That shows no class, if you ask me. I was going to tell them the name is not at this address and phone, but let them take the time and cost to call. It amuses me.
Their website ( http://www.retrievalmasters.com/index.php ) brags about how good they are. But they got my number and some name for a guy I never heard of. Ya, you are so good.
