I go a strange voicemail message on Jan. 12 at 7:48am, "Hi, Mary, this is Mr. Barry, please give me a call back when you get this at 1-800-824-9392 ext. 5426." He didn't leave any details, so I didn't call back. However, my caller id listed the # as 614-717-4395. So I looked that number up and it is coming from Dublin, OH. Weird.

"I have a very important message for you". I called the number back from a different phone but was placed on hold forever. The voice options indicated that this may be some sort of collection agency but i don't have any delinquent accounts and pay my bills in full each month. Sounds fishy.

It's amazing what this world is coming to... Don't you just wish you could live your life and not have to worry about a different a**hole trying to still your identity every second.  You can't even swipe your ATM card anymore without worrying.  I want to run away to 100 years ago, and live life the way one should.

Called and left a recorded message to call back ans straighten out my problem, must be a collection agency.

I got a call from 8008249392, they were inquiring about a friend of mine, they woke me at 8:00 am and would give me no details.  Who are these people?

I just got a call from this: 800-824-9392, but none of my card payments are behind??

I have had others call me at this number though (for another person) talking about late fees and some insurance company.. So I assume it's the other guy. Im surely not calling this company.

I got a call from the same number but I can not figure out what they are saying the name of the agency is. The little research I have done I can find that if you put in the EXT 3098 it takes you to a student loan number then says that they are not avaliable something is fishy here.

if you had any debt that was written off by a credit card company they folks buy it for pennies on the dollar then try to collect on it.

Just ingnore them and do NOT call them back or talk to them under any circumstance or they will put the stuff back on you credit report.

an you will have to go through another seven years to get rid of it....

Received a call from this number today saying it was a business call.  I called them back, couldn't understand what the company name was, and was on hold 3 separate times for 45 minutes a piece.  They finally answered on the third attempt (after 45 minutes) and said it was for a debt what was covered under a bankruptcy over 4 years ago.  When I said this, they said they would continue to collect and hung up on me.

Calling about as they claim an important business matter, call back number indicates for the State of Georgia. No one answers after being on hold, can't leave a message because their box is full. Don't owe anyone and there is no reason for collections to be calling me. Am listed with the State of TN, do not call list.

If you don't have debt and they never send you anything official in the mail to claim debt, then I assume this collector has no business calling you and it's likely to be a scam.

been recieveing harrassing calls from these dumbass for no reason, some collection agency. I am getting sick and tired. i have already filed a complaint with the atty general of ohio and also. with texas atty general. and also the bbb.

Only trust paper(mail)in case of a collector ,do not give any info over the phone ,not even name..they called me and the voice is automated so they have been doing millions of calls or theyre so cheap to even pay an agent(so to me scam)..

they call me for past card debit what is the worse thing they can do? dont have any money. all they can do is ruin my cedit and it's already ruined.

Frankly it appears that this company is contacting us all for something important. I called the number back finally after 2 months of calls all day everyday it seemed. They said I owed some student loan. I thought all my loans were consolidated years ago. I contacted the federal loan locater and sure enough i had another loan out there. They were not the friendliest people but one this is for sure we are no longer in customer service this is a collections agency so what do you expect. I was able to get my loan taken care of on some program called the federal rehab thing. At least I did not get caught up in the whole garnishment, federal offset of tax's, and all that legal b.s. I dont want to deal with. Call them back and if it's not you then you will not have anything to worry about. If you owe man up or woman up get that second job and pay your debt it's not a scam call the national student loan locater. 800-433-3243

Got a call on my cell phone to "call about an important matter".  The original user of our cell phone number was a young person,running a music busines of some kind.  He appearently left a lot of debt and "no show" to festivals.  I'm disregarding the call, and will forward it to BBB.
