Asked to call back. Who is it?

Got this letter in the mail saying I had an urgent message. Told me to call the number and enter a pin. WTF?

I got the Message Alert Letter as well.  There was nothing that said who they were or anything...Isn't there a law that they have to disclose who they are and that they are attempting to collect a debt?  WTF!  Their letter doesn't say anything of the sort and I believe it is my right if they are sending me a letter that either their recording say who they are before they want me to enter any information even if it is their Voice Message id number.  Someone needs to put a stop to this "BLIND" mailing or request to call them.

We got one of these as well.  I refuse to call it.  If they want to talk to me, why don't they call me?  Regardless of who makes the call, we can still just put the phone back on the receiver.  As if we are somehow obligated to talk to them just because they send us an anonymous letter.  What is the point of this except to harass people?  The oddest part is that I just don't have any kind of debt they could be calling about...  I'm not in collections with any of my creditors.

I called this number and got no response .If they are trying to collect a debt why not be upfront about it.I do believe this a little on the shady side and with so many scams going in their not going to get the response they want because people are scared. Contact me up front if I owe you send me a ligitimate document with information on the debt you might be suprised at the response. Harassment

I received a card stating "Delivery Services" -that I have a package they are trying to send to me. I have not ordered anything so I searched here and learned that it is a collection agency. Since when are they allowed to misrepresent their intentions? They must think people are stupid to fall for such tactics.

We recieved the same information by postcard with the same phone number.  I have phone numbers for the Federal Trade Comm.  I will contact them later.   We will be reporting this to the authorities.   This is a scam.

today I got a card stating that a delivery was to come to me but when I called I got this issue has been solved. I going to find out who it is and report to the federal government. If it is a collection agency, this is illegal. I was in credit and collections.

Got a letter in the mail saying i missed a package.  How can this be legal this is crazy.  How can these companies get away with this?  If they just spent half the time working with people instead of being sneaky and rude they might be able to do there jobs and collect the money that they are trying to get.....if this is really a debt collector?  Don't know because it don't say.  So I guess we will just file it in our local land fill.....

I know that I have some creditors... think I will report them to the attorney general or other appropriate authority...

received a yellow card in mail telling me to call ASAP at 1-800-831-8706 to reschedule a delivery. this is unethical and harassment and I want whoever this company is to be held liable for their actions

I recieved a orange card in my mail saying they had something that could not be delivered. I called the number and got no response. I feel this could be a scam. This could be the same company that has called my workplace asking for payday and account numbers after being informed not to call my place of work.

My comments are the same as the above comments. I havent order anything. Out of work nobody has every tried to deliver anything at my home
... I called same thing enter a code. I did.then it simply says problem has been resolved
what a joke. Never does it say the problem or who it is.,,,

Here's my experience: today I received an orange card with the same information as listed above ("Delivery Services" etc). I called the number, punched in the code and then an automated voice said "this issue has been resolved." If the number does belong to NCA (Natioanal Credit Adjusters) then I believe this card and verification code is simply designed to get you to confirm your address so they can serve you court papers.

If they send the card to your address and you dial the number and put the in the code unique to your address, it's confirming in their system that they have the right address for whomever they are trying to get to.

That's my take on it at least. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong.
