called and said to call back regarding money that was available to me?? Something on that order.
When I called backshe asked if I knew Scott Xxxxxx. I said no. She said "okay I'll keep you on the list."
I said no I don't want to be on your list ...for what. She said "No I said I will take you off the list." So I don't know if it really was a miscommunication of what. I hope I am not on her list.

Calls from this phone number 2-3 times per day.  Getting very annoyed!

I keep getting this message, obviously automated. Not sure what it is for, but would like for them to stop calling since we are on the Do Not Call list.

Like the others, the message is automated, and the call is made at least once daily. My number is on the Do Not Call List.

I called and pretended I was a FCC Federal Agent by the Agent number 6157-438-008 which is their phone number written backwards. I was transfered to Lee Kent, who is a collections agent for Merchantile Bank. Apparently my phone number was owned by someone else about 4 years ago. This person's accounts have fallen into collection with Merchantile. I use to receive phone calls from about 3 years ago for this same person. It seems he is now in collections. I called and gave my number, but not my name, but the name of the person they were lokking for has my same last name. The agent told me that they would remove my number. I hope that it works!

I live with my parents -- and this number has been calling FOREVER!! They just called again and the lady just says they need us to return the call and she is from the offices of Lee Kent. But, we are afraid to call back and now from reading this I don't think we will. Any ideas? Email me @ majikleedlishs23@aol.com. Thanks.

Yes, this 800-834-7516 called several times and said he is Lee Kent - and was
asking for Scott (something).  I told the caller the telephone number belongs to my son and not Scott Whatever his last name is.  Lee Kent said that Scott gave him our telephone number.

I answer the phone when this number calls my burner prepay cell phone.  What is odd is that there is no one on the other end and the call is dropped almost immediately.  So what is the point?!

I get three to four calls per day.  It is extremely annoying and whoever is making the call should be seeked out and reported to the authorites

Caller asked for someone who left here 6 years ago. I told the caller this, and they asked if this person was planning on coming back.

Really? After 6 years? GET REAL!!!

When checking my boss's voicemail for him, there was a voicemail from this number, stating that if you're not *name*, please disconnect the call, and you're listening to this message, you acknowledge that you are the person, blah blah blah.  Really?  What kind of shady business practice is this?  

And by having the name "Bureau" in the business name seems even more suspicious, as if pretending to be a government office of some sort.  Some people may hear that name and get nervous, which just may be their tactics.  SHADY BUSINESS!
