PHONE WAS OFF BUT I STILL GOT CHARGED FOR THE CALL ON MY WIRELESS PHONE BILL.

They called my cell phone and said I was one of a 100 picked by verizon to receive a $100.00 on my account. All I had to do was give the last 4 numbers of my SS

Scam?

I had work done on my dsl line because of at least two loop problems this year.  This number is 1-800-VERIZON.  On my VoIP system, caller id with toll free area codes are blocked due to too many telemarketers and charities calling with toll free area codes.  So if they need to talk to me, don't use a toll free area code as the caller id. Or respond to one of my emails.  Actually, since I get dsl from a reseller, I feel compelled not to return any of Verizon's calls, and work with the reseller directly.

The caller said I had a message from VERIZON. A lady spit out a phone number but could not undestand it.

I didn't take this call and  they left no message. I wonder if Verizon knows about this?

This # is automated stating that they are coming a certain day per my request to install verizon. I never spoken to they since they are not my carrier. I've contacted Verizon,The fed trades comm.etc.and still getting calls and even text messages.OH did i mention i have always had my texting blocked how does this happen.

I have been getting 3-5 calls a day from this number to my cell phone over the last week.

It is always a robo-call (Laurie) thanking me for purchase of Verizon broadband (I don't deal with Verizon at all), once it was in Spanish and once soliciting for Verizon broadband.

Have been logging every one of these at FCC but I am not sure FCC does anything about the robo-calls or calls to "do not call" numbers. Tax dollars not at work in yet another Govt division

I have set it to go automatically to voice mail without ringing in my phone.

It's extremely frustrating when these phone calls roll in at 8:00 a.m. and I am sleeping soundly because of working overnight. Verizon 'is' my carrier, but if they continue in this vein, they won't be for long.

This is a Verizon number. Earlier I was unable to go to the internet. I contacted Verizon. This number just called me to let me know the problem they were having is now fixed.

VERIZON and their rip off [***]

This number calls my place of business 8 - 10 times a day disrupting the work day.

I called the number back and just got off the phone with a Verizon customer service representative who explained that this number is an inbound number only and cannot make outbound calls. He suspects that someone is spoofing aka calling and using this number as what shows up on the caller ID.

He submitted my request to the IT dept. who will continue to investigate. My business does not use Verizon.

It's verizon calling about your or someone else's account.

Did not pick-up, but received a call from this number 800-837-4966.  Who ever it was did not leave a message.  Could not find the number using reverse look-up.

It was just verizon reminding me that they're going to be coming out to my location to set up my service. Which I have requested.
