I believe they are from google as they are pushing a Google service for local listing enhancement and they gave Google's URL.

The cost does not vary.  It is always $25/month.  The main benefits are:  Create a Bullseye to your company in Google Search, Completely Flexible and Interchangeable, The least amount of money you'll ever spend advertising with Google - less than $1 a day and the best part is there are no contracts or or commitment on your part.  If you don't see a benefit, you can deactivate at any time.

Ok, let's be clear about what this is. First, it is legit. Second, they do not work for Google. They are representatives for Google, so they do work for Google, but not AT Google. They get paid BY Google when they sell these services FOR Google.  So they technically can say they work for Google, even though the truth is that they don't actually work FOR Google.  

BUT, again, it is legitimate and the service is legitimate and what they offer is legitimate. This is not a scam. The service is for an upgraded listing with your business listing. If you signed your business up for a business listing at Google Places, claimed your business address through your Google account, etc., you will be on this call list. This has nothing to do with any paid service via Adwords or any Google advertising. If you claimed your business address via any one of many Google avenues, you might get called from these folks.  And it's not a scam.

What you get is a extra highlight feature for your listing that helps your business listing stand out a little more than your competitors (unless they're doing it also). It's $25 per month and it's a pretty good deal considering the potential to stand out more in those business listings.

But that's what you need to know. It's legit. Not a scam. If you don't want it, don't call them back. They'll just go on to your competitor and get them to do it. ; )

The company hired by google is called Direct Alliance corp...Go to google and type Google & Direct Alliance...You will get your answer there. They are a Sales Co.  3rd Party hired by google to sell the S**T out of Google. Obviously they cannot do it, so they hired this messed up company to sell with no customer service. Buyer beware, they will sell you Adwords & Express but do not expect CS...they suck...And shame on Google for hiring them and not giving Customer Service
