it's a wrong number, they are very rude and won't remove it.

This is a collection agency but will give no information, It is Amsher in B'han Alabama.

They call with stupid recorded messages that don't quit calling. They've called my phone everyday for the past 2 weeks usually between 11 am and 3 pm with there recorded message. I've called them back telling them to stop calling my phone and they are rude and end up hanging up on you.

Calls repeatly saying it is not a marketing call and is important to call (Jason)back during his stated office hrs... It also called a few days ago and said it was a collection agency since I don't owe anyone this is just a bunch of bunk! Press one to connect...Cell phone spam!.

this is a wack number dude...i call, and all they say is that they are busy...

a guy that can't pronounce my last name. vaughn really isn't that hard i wouldn't think...doesn't tell me who they are just gives me the number in a voice mail.

They call every day with the same message.  If it was that important they would say who they are and what the hell they want.

"Jason" has been calling my home's unlisted number for the past week leaving a message saying it was important I return the call.  No company name, no further info.  Today a girl called, identified the company as Amsher, and needed my birthdate to continue the phone call.  I asked the company name again, and she identified them again as Amsher and was returning my phone call and wanting my birthdate.  When I said that I did not call them and did not know the company, she stated she was ending the call.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!

Yep - this Jason guy must think I have nothing better to do.
If it was legit - state your business I'll call back.

Three times a day for more than a month.  Jason must be a lonely guy...

I have been receiving these same calls from, Jason, Jessica, and now Ruby. Who do you call to get them to stop calling you. If you block the number on your home phone, they just call from a different one.

This is a shady debt collection agency. They cannot tell you what the debt is for but they are ready and willing to take payment upon calling.

THIS IS "AMSHARE",  A COLLECTION AGENCY LOOKING TO COLLECT ON UNPAID DEBTS.  THEY PURCHASE OLD DEBTS FROM COMPANIES AND TRY TO LOCATE WHOMEVER OWES THE DEBT AND THEN TRIES TO SCARE SOMEONE INTO PAYING IT....EVEN IF IT'S NOT YOUR DEBT...YOU SHOULD TELL THEM TO REMOVE YOUR NUMBER AT ONCE OR YOU WILL TURN THEM INTO THEIR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE....IF YOU OWE NO UNPAID DEBT, THEY HAVE NO REASON WHAT-SO-EVER TO BE CALLING YOU.....

Received calls from 800-844-5279 AND 205-313-2638 all day, everyday- even on the weekends with no messages left. I finally answered one day, fed up from the non-stop calls and a very aggressive, pushy man named Aaron tried to bully me into paying a bill that I had already paid. He asked to speak to me and then damanded that I comfirm ym birthday. I told hi I wasn't doing that because I didn't know who he was or what he wanted and he kept demanded that I tell him when my birthday was. After we argued and went round and round about that, he finally mentioned a doctor's office that I had used and I gave in and told him my birth date. He told me that unless I could prove I had already paid it to him (over the phone?) then I would have to pay the bill again and then deal with getting my money back later. I told him he was crazy and I was NOT paying the bill again. He rattled off something about federal law and said that the amount would be on my credit within 5 days and that the phoen call was recorded and would be used against me.

all this nasty exchange over $30!! These people are J E R K S

The caller ID said "Amsher"  The number is 205/313-2588.  What scared me was that he asked if my ss last numbers were xxxx.  Dont know what he was all about  because I hung up - but now scared he's up to some scam.

I have received automated calls from this number and another one with a 256 area code over several weeks asking for someone who doesn't live here and saying that, by staying on the line, I am acknowledging that I am that person. I've tried hitting zero to get an operator but without success. Once I was able to call back and get a person to answer. I gave the person my telephone number, said I wanted them to write it down, and started to tell them that no one by that name lived here. The person abruptly said that the number was blocked and hung up. That was a couple weeks ago. Now it's started all over again. I'm looking for someone with authority to file a complaint for harassment.

Thanks to info in one of the postings above, I just called the 205 number, got someone to answre, explained the situation to them, and was told the number would be removed. I also told them I'll be filing a FTC or FCC complaint. We'll see if this ends it.

same thing, they call everyday.  I called back today requesting to be taken off list, they hung up.  I called back and spoke to the same person and chewed her out for hanging up on me.  Then got on this site and found the companies info, called the main office and she said our number was in their system in 3 DIFFERENT PLACES!  Oh man the nerve!  She said nicely that the problem shold be solved. Hopefully, I'm getting rid of my landline if they keep calling.
