I do not like spam or robo calls on my cell phone. I am on the "Do Not Call" list but they still persist. Can't someone enforce this rule? This number never leaves a message, and I don't answer as I do not know the caller. THis caller is a royal "Pain in the butt" who wastes my cell minutes and time.

I answered this call and someone named Nick was on the line. He asked me how I was and hung up. Weird. Blocked number.

Trying to get you to log on n put a worm in your PC  These scammer calls are being sold by Bright House Networks - with who supplies our cable service - They sell to everybody n anybody who pays them - I will eventually take them to court as I document each call

The say that my computer sent them notification that i have virus which is false...they will not say where they are from and they get rude with you if you keep asking..this is a scam

A guy called me at my cell phone saying that my computer was downloading a software and that he was concerned about my security settings.  I asked if he knew the name of the person he had called.  He said, No, and I don't want to know."  He hang up after that.

Called my cellphone that has been on Do Not Call List for over 5 years.

Can you believe it, they hung up on me!  I love it when they don't know how to react to a IT Geek!  This number is now on my BLOCKED CALLER LIST.

This is an India-based technical support fraud.

Calls every other day or so.  But, with the assistance of my little " call blocker" device, the phone rings twice and the call goes to the great Unknown.....Thank you! Call Blocker!

This number is identified when a call comes in everyday. Most of the time no one answers.

Called residence on Saturday morning to tell me my computer was under attack and I needed to log on so he could help me solve the problem.  This is www . com 101 people.... If you don't call someone about an issue, Bill Gates is NOT offering free manned virus protection from India for you or me, maybe for Melinda, but not you! I assured this particular moron he had did in fact have the wrong # and he wants to confirm that I'm sure... He must be joking or is a total Nimrod.

The name this number is under is AVANGATE*Utilities.AMS.  The name of the guy with the person with the India accent is John Hubbard.  Yes this is definitely a scam to get full access to your computer and infect it with a virus.  If you should ever accidentally allow them to have control and then realize what you have done, quickly unplug your computer from the phone line and the power source.  Power down the system and take into the nearest Best Buy Geek squad immediately.  They can stop the virus before it does much damage.  This of course depends on how long you have let these crooks have control of your computer.  They also get your credit card number and make ridiculous charges. If you have an excellent credit card company that has a splendid policy, then notify them immediately to let them know of the fraud charges.  First of all, these crooks will ask for your credit card number up front.  Anytime this happens with anyone, you can definitely know it is a fake.  Credit card information always comes at the end.  This John Hubbard made the mistake of giving me his cell phone number 801-477-5522.  I was nice to him and asked him several questions.  Another number they will use is 801-477-7224.  Make a note for yourself to read "NEVER give access nor information to Avangate*Utilities, nor the numbers I have listed above.
