Keeps calling never leaves a voicmail and has a bunch of numbers on the callerID.  I have never answered these calls which accure twice a day.

Debt Collector - looking for someone who had my phone number over 8 years ago.

Those [***] call over & over. Say they are "Calvary Portfolios".
I asked them why they call a number when they have no idea who it belongs to.
Don't know who they are but the guy said something rude about my Mother.
Told him to say that to my face.
i was so pissed off with his behavior i wished i could have got my hands on him

Has had them call several times a day and leave a identifying different name each time. Asking if I know of a person or location for this person. Most likely a collection service company operating against rules of contacting an employer looking for an employee.

This is a company who says acquired/own my credit card balance from Capitol One. They say the are not a collection agency.  I filed bankruptcy on this account in Aug. 2013.  I'm not sure if this is true but they had my name, phone, address and last 4 of my SS #.  Seems legit.  Shame on Capitol One for selling a bad dept.

I have retaliated by entering this number online for nambal contacts and for craiglist child pornography sales. Don't get mad...get even.

I told them I would take legal action

They call over and over from several different numbers and never leave a message. They also called me pretending to be an AT& T company just to verify my name. They are very rude and deceitful. Don't believe a word they say. Matter of fact, don't even answer their call because they record the calls and will try to sue you if you agree to anything they offer. First they'll try to get you to pay an outrageous amount on a closed account, then they'll go lower and lower on the amount they want you to pay. Paying them anything WILL NOT TAKE IT OFF YOUR CREDIT, your credit score will remain the same, and if the account is closed or charged off, they are trying to make a profit. They buy bad debt and scam people into paying them, making false promises.

Received a call today 12/23/15 doing the exact same thing others above have mentioned. Thank you for reporting.

Idiots have been calling and leaving me messages every day.  So annoying!!

Called my cell; left no message, so i have no idea who the caller is. So annoying! People should not call if they have no intention of leaving a message. What a rudeness! :(

Called me and left a voice message that this message is from Cavalry Portfolios regarding debt collection. Didn't bother to call them.

Get calls daily on my cell telling me they are a debt collector. They give me a number and extension to call. I know I don't owe anyone anything so I'm ignoring them for now.

Got a call from (800) 861-4840 picked up the call and listened for a few seconds no verbal engagement then they dropped the line, I've blocked the number.

Called asking for the last 4 of my SSN. When I asked why they said so they could prove who I was. When asked what it was in reference to before giving it out. She refused so I  hung up on her and blocked the number.
