They called my work asking for my husband or myself regarding "a bad check our company wrote their company".  The name he gave was Mr. Hayes @ ext. 2431.
When I asked what company he was with to try and verify this "bad check" he hung up.

Calls multiple times per day. Never leaves a message.

This number keeps calling me and when I answer no one speaks.   Called the number back and it belongs to Focus Receivables Management.  Googled that and found out its some type of scammy collection agency.  Comments from victims were very interesting.

Getting calls from this number and same as others.  Doesn't leave mes and puts you on hold when call back.

They call and never leave a message.  They never say anything when I answer.  Not sure what this is about or who benefits  but I am blocking the number.

Same as others.  No voicemail.  Just calls each day.  I haven't tried to call it back yet.  But, will answer the next time it calls to see if there is more information that I can get out them.

They keep calling my work phone number and when I answer they never say anything!!

They called me saying they are Comcast and if I don't pay my bill over the phone my service will be interrupted. I asked for which bill, she gives me an account number. I said ok. I will pay. But I will call the number off of the bill. She says "Why? We can do it right now."

Total phishing scam. My bill is paid up full.

received a call from this number on my cell phone.  they were trying to reach Sonny Brooke Stables.  Unfortunately I gave the phone number for the business.  I called the number back but was unable to speak with anyone.  Goes to a message system apparently.  I have no idea what business is at 800-861-7981 or why they are calling anyone.

It was a Comcast Past Due Collector

Office gets at least one call a day from this number.  Most often, there is no one there and no response to a greeting.  One time, a human responded.  She told me that they were calling for a past due account from Comcast.  I have never had anyone but Comcast call on overdue bills unless they are VERY past due and have been sold to a collections agency.  Today, it was a recorded message stating to call this number back in reference to a 'past due business account'.  No idea who or what or why.  That was gist of the message.  I have reported the number about 4 times now.  It is getting ridiculous because we are a doctor's office and it ties up a phone line 2 or 3 times a day on certain days!
