- Anonymous| 1 replyReceived call before 9am, left no message, caller ID "Unknown Name". I think it could be a potential collection agency, no further info.
- Caller: N/A
- nbI got a call from this number in the mid morning. There was a pause, then some bad elevator music. No one ever picked up. I waited 45 seconds then hung up.
- Caller: Unknown
- anonI called it, and was given the choice of either english or spanish. I picked english and was told it was Soloman and Solman PC, whatever that is.
- GeorgeThis is a Collection Agency, I don't know what they can want from me, I did not have my glasses on, so I answer their call only the first time, but there is no-one talking. They call every few days, I will not answer any 800 calls. My cell phone is registered on the National Do Not Call list, I don't know why they are calling me.
One time another 800 was calling my cell phone everyday for weeks, I filed a complaint with FCC, FCC emailed me back and says they are charitable organization, they can call me all they want, so after that, I call them and yelled at them loud, until they stopped calling me.
Since this Collection is not calling me daily, I am not yelling at them yet. ha ha.- Caller: Some Collection Agency
- lik my [***]hundreds of people getting calls from the same # and no one can do anything about it!!!
What would happen if we all called them at the same time? Hundreds of calls at one time. say about noon eastern time, on Friday, every Friday for a six month period.
POWER TO THE LITTLE PEOPLE!!!!- Caller: S & S, NY, NY
- S & S bitesI love your idea. I will call them on Fri. How about the rest of you?
- P-O'dThey have called me 4 times this morning alone. Once every hour ! They have called in the past. But then stopped. Yes it is Soloman and Soloman. Now with the mortgage crisis, and the cost of fuel keeping folks from getting to work, and paying their bills, I wonder how they are actually doing? These rediculous credit card fees, and especially chnaging the payment time every month to intentionally screw the consumer really doesnt make a collection companies employment secure. Its showing now. Its an easy recipe. First lone money for something to someone with good credit, then change their payment due date so the get late fees thus ruining their credit so they cant borrow money again. Hmmmmmm, now 80% or more Americans have poor credit and cant borrow anymore. So guess what banks, and credit giving fools, how long will YOU have a job, and thus Bad credit?
- Caller: Soloman & Soloman Assoc.
- Alexandria Erbachthis number along with 1-800-793-0282. They call constantly. Early in the morning, late at night. it's enough to make you crazy.
- Bang my head on the wallThis is a third party collection agency masking as a law firm making calls to cell phones trying to identify people with bad debts to collect. See the mention of "outbound predictive capabilities" below. They use an 800 number for outgoing calls because it can not be blocked via the National Do Not Call list. Their information is below. Please feel free to contact them continually to ask them "why?" If they call you, you have every right to call, spam, flame and stop by their offices for a little chat about their business practices.

I received one today and the woman said that she had sent me a letter in the mail 3 mons ago concerning an unpaid bill from Verizon. I told her that my Verizon account had been closed over 3 years ago and that I paid them in full. She said that I owed Verizon the 'toll fee for closing the account'. When asked how much it was , she said $198 and that she would accept $150 if I were to settle the amount over the telephone. I needed to give her my credit card number for her to process it.
I said that I needed to check with Verizon and that I'd get back to her. She said for me not to bother because Verizon had turned over the account to them and that they wouldn't have me on record. I hung up on her! - BabydollI started receiving phone calls from this number about a month ago. I don't owe any bills...PLUS when it is a legit bill collector they usually leave at least a automatated message.
I picked up a few times, once I got to a menu where they wanted me to press a number to talk to someone. Another time, they stated the companies that they would be collecting for and I only had an account with one of them and I knew I wasn't late (verizon). Another time, I even got hung up on.
I wish I could block the number, but wouldn't want to pay extra for that. I'm just glad I found this website and now know that it is infact bogus and to NEVER PICK UP AGAIN!
Thanks guys- Caller: [No Name]
- jcThese people started calling about a month ago. I have NO outstanding debts with anyone, so don't know how they got my number and why they are calling me. They call at 8 in the morning, at dinner time or 8:30-9:00 at night. I have answered but there is never anyone there and eventually the line disconnects. When my answering machine picks up, the call disconnects immediately. They may be looking for one of my grown children, but if they were legitimate they would leave a message. How do you make them stop? This is bordering on harrassement!!
We pay for our phones.....we should be able to prevent these types of calls
..............without the phone company charging extra for it!!!- Caller: Unavailable
- Hates Big BizYes, it is solomon & solomon a collection agency for MCI, Verizon, and one other..i called the number, asked why they were calling me. They asked for my #, i told her (since they already were calling). she asked my name, i said "whats your name?" she told me, then said the name of the person they were looking for. i said he moved (he did move, but 99.99% probability he does not owe them $$). she SAID they will remove my number. we'll see. NEVER give ANY personal information. NEVER. even if you owe the debt. these companies are junk debt collectors. when i was just a young kid, about 22 years ago, i got a speeding ticket in Florida that i never paid. about 10 years ago, married mature, i tried to clean up any old debts, including speeding tik in FLA. about 6 phone calls and 10 hours trying to resolve it FLA says they have no record of it anywhere, so forget it. 3 months ago i got a call from a collection agency ((municpal service bureau) saying i owed them for a speeding ticket in FLA!
the poster well below has the best advice. call back, Tell them they have wrong info, INSIST they remove your # and stop calling, and mention Fair Debt Collection Act. if they ask your name, just say "I am not, nor is anyone else at this number, the person you are looking for". Never give them ANYTHING or they will keep coming back. DO NOT tell them ur name, address, ESPECIALLY credit card info. IF you acknowledge the debt, that gives them the right to call you again, Do not call list can not save you from that. Even if they claim u owe $200 and you think you can settle for 10 or 20 bucks just to get them off your back. EVEN if it is a legitimat debt. if you make one payment, that re-opens the claim. another poster was right on when they said everybody call them back, and harass them. when NOBODY pays these scum, they will go OUT OF BUSINESS. one caller was so rude to me one day , I insulted her up and down, including foul language. she chastised me for it, and i said "YOU called me, un-invited. I have the right, protected by the 1st amendmendt to say anything i want. if you get this all the time from everyone you call, and quit your job because of the abuse, pretty soon there wont be any of you low-lifes left to call consumers". try it,at the least it was FUN- Caller: soloman & soloman
- NoDebtI have been receiving calls from various collection agencies including this one since I got a new phone number about a month ago. Apparently the person who had the number before me had bad debts. I have told every one of them that the person they are looking for no longer has this number. ONLY these butt holes continue to harass me, as if I am lying to them. If it doesn't cease I am going to insist that Verizon fix it it by contacting these people or issuing me another phone number....
- GiveItToThemGo to their site [http://www.solomonpc.com/] and send them a message like this on under "contact us".
To Whom It May Concern:
Your organization has been calling my cell phone [(xxx) xxx-xxxx] on a fairly regular basis but no message of any kind has been left. I have conducted some research on your phone number [(800) 873-1993] only to discover some less than flattering things about your organization and tactics.
As I have only two outstanding [loans both of which are current] and no other bills that carry past due amounts, there is absolutely no reason that a collection law firm would need to contact me at my physical address or home phone, let alone my cell phone. Your firm would be will advised to quite contacting (xxx) xxx-xxx immediately. The most recent call was received today [xxxxday, xxxx xxth @ x:xx p.m. EDT] and again no voice mail message was left.
Please cease and desist any and all future attempts to contact with me at (xxx) xxx-xxx other than to leave a message explaining the nature of your contact or to apologize for contacting me in error. Your failure to cease and desist immediately or to leave a message of explanation or apology will result in my taking whatever action is necessary to ensure that you do cease and desist.

- kmjust got a call a few minutes ago. they asked for someone else a guy. it was really weird when they told me the first and last name of the person they were looking for I advised them that they had the wrong number.
- DanteJust tell them you'll sue them or something. it works. Just dont threaten them with violence, cuz you might get in trouble.
- justicei get calls from the people as late as 8pm. they dont leave messages
or answer. if i do have a debt with these people why havent i seen one
bill and i will not give these people my credit card number. i will block this number from these people so i wont be harrassed any further.- Caller: collection agency
- GeorgeThis number is a colletion agency. The freaks called my business asking for some guy I had never heard of. No one by that name has ever had our telephone number.
I punched 2 as it said if I was not the person to do so and a computer came on and said "goodbye".
Congress needs to shut these types of people down, they don't even know who they are calling or harassing and that should be illegal.
Just another example of our government letting businesses run wild with no regulation which has put our country in the mess we are in now.- Caller: Unknown
