Overbearing and rude caller named Richard O'Brien at 20/20 Financial Consulting.  I nicely asked to be removed from his call list since we are on "DO NOT CALL" list but he continued to harrass so I reported to FCC.

We are also getting harrasing calls from the guy acting like he is going to rescue us from some tax debt....who does he think he is?  I will report him too..maybe he will quit calling.

We get calls from "Annie" nearly every day with "good news" about a serious tax matter. When I tell her the boss is not available, she leaves msg to call her at 800-880-7318 x 112. Have told her the boss is not interested, she still keeps calling. These people are really persistent.

A very strange character named Leo Baker called and asked if I was the owner of my company, which I am not and then asked to speak with the owner b/c he had a VERY important message. I informed him that the owner was not available and he said " you mean, he is not there?, seriously its very important" I replied with " no he is unavailable." So then he asked for the owners cell phone number!!! I thought to myself "are you kdding me?". These are some odd folks!

Annoying calls keep coming, tell them not interested, but they just don't get the point.

Victor James said he was from 2020, indicating he was local and mentioned a local company that the accountant in my office prepares taxes for, when we called back, it was a sales pitch and very misleading.  If they call again, I will report them to the FCC as well.  Victor James extension is 138

Nearly every day for the past week I've received a call from a woman at 20/20 Financial.  She asks for the owner, who is never in, and leaves a message to call her back because she has "good news regarding a state tax matter!".  Today she asked for my name and I gave her my alias "Sarah Biatchi" so when she calls back we will know we don't want to talk to her. The woman is quite snobby and persistent.

Same thing "important good news about taxes" I have no tax issue. How to I report them. 20/20 Financial

I came to this page by googling their 800 number. - Anybody figured out why how to report/stop them?

I am the customer service representative at 20/20 Tax Resolution.  After finding these posts, I would like to address some of the concerns voiced here.   We adhere to all FCC and Do Not Call requirements.  Additionally, it is company policy that no employee here is to be rude, crass or in any way disrespectful to a potential client.  If an employee has acted in a manner that is not consistent with our policy, he or she will face swift disciplinary action.  If you have been contacted by us and feel an employee of 20/20 has not acted in a professional manner, I urge you to contact me at (800) 880-7318, extension 106

Some woman left a message claiming she was calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless. She sounded as if she was laughing while leaving the message. Deleted the message. If I wanted to check my calling plan, I'd go to the Verizon website, local store or call Verizon myself. I don't care if it is actually Verizon or not, I don't accept telemarketing calls. Even from companies I do business with.

Yep...that's the number.  This guy just all of a sudden calls out of the blue saying that he's got good news about a tax problem.  He left a message on the voice mail system - professional and cordial - but I didn't know who it was, I didn't solicit a call from him and didn't want to deal with him.  

He hasn't done anything really offensive yet, but I'm sure that's coming.

I got a call today from Joseph Martinez x165, indicating there was very good news regarding state sales tax. Thanks for informing me that this is a bogus call!

I got a call from Amy Sheldon at this number, ext. 109, also promising good news on a state tax matter if I just call her back.  I'm always leary of anyone with good news about a tax matter (especially when I have no pending tax matters) whom I never sought out in the first place.  After reading all this stuff, I can see that this is one of those scare you into calling and then try to sell you something types of companies.

This number is owned by 20/20 Tax Resolution, Broomfield, CO.  I went to the trouble to research all of these types of companies.  Names, addresses, google research, BBB research, and in some cases supreme court research.  Thousands of people hire these companies every month.  I tried to be as impartial as I could, “just the facts.”  Some of them have multiple locations, and some of them have multiple names in the same location.  14 Linked reviews for all the companies are at the bottom of the article.

I got a call today too.... my first... glad there is this website... taxes aren't a thing to screw with.  The caller didn't even have the correct name of my business.

got a call from someone named Richard O'Brain claiming to be from 20/20 he said must speak to the owner regarding  good news about federal tax matter and left his number and extension 800 466 5751 ext 107 They have been calling very persistently. Each time we instructed this person that we are not interested in his services.

Hey...I just got a call from Richard O'Brien too! It's amazing how we all are getting "good news" regarding a federal tax matter! SMH
