repeatedly receiving calls from 800-887-9187..when phone is answered..no response. called back..get a female voice..saying can't be reached right now..call back at a later time.

Many frequent calls from 800-887-9187, no one speaks when we answer. Attempt to call back gets no ring at all.

Spoke to a female who said she was from new England Market Research. Asked "If the republican primary were held today, who would you vote for?" and followed it up with a few more questions about how likely, and what was the most important issues on my mind.

Called me 3 times in 15 minutes

I don't appreciate being called where I'm on a DO NOT CALL LIST and the caller hung up after 10 seconds without identifying themselves. VERY ANNOYING!!

Calling all the time!!!! Answer machine is on but no message!!! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT KEEP CALLING!!!!

My wife and I get calls everyday from this number. We answer the phone and no one answers. I try to call the number back and the number will not go through.
Does anyone know how to stop this??????

Have gotten 11 calls from this number in the last few days last one tonight at 9pm.

Receiving constant calls from this number.  When we answer, no one responds.  When we leave it go, there is no message.  We are on a Do No Call list.  How do we stop this annoying caller????

Personalized robocall from American Issues Project. Apparently they have gotten their hands on the phone numbers of voters. It is personalized as in my first name was used twice within the robocall. Since it was my actual first name and not my nickname, I know where they had to get the phone number. The representative talks about an ad they are running concerning the current federal budget issues. They want people to contact the local office of their Congressional rep...they even give the correct information for the this representative. The also give their website and ask you to check out the latest ad and offer to let you join. I will not do either. They called again from 8008879187 its from the Alabama Republican Party asking who I would vote for, when I said Democrats they got pissed off, I need to somehow block them

It seems from scanning these forums this is (usually) a conservative phone-marketing research organization. I just got a call from the Oil/Energy lobby urging me to call my reps to sway their votes from supporting a tax bill vs. the oil industry --- my response was of this nature: the oil industry just had record win-falls of money earned the past 2-6 years. There's nobody better to help pay our country's bills at this point in time.

Calls come every day-never anybody there.Very pissed off.

Have gotten several calls from this number in the last few days.  Nobody there.  When I call back, a man (recording) says all reps are busy, call back later.  After seeing & reading this sight, I at least know I am not the only one getting these calls.  Still doesn't make me happy.

When calling number back, "all lines are busy, now, please call later" yeah, all lines are busy because you are harrassing the entire state of NJ!

In NJ, this is Chris Cristie for Governor, [christiefornj.com] seeking votes for the primary earlier in June 2009. Guess what? I did NOT vote for him!!! Expect more of these calls since the bum won the republican primary. These calls come to my home business phone, incurring charges on my phone bill for minutes used message units.

I am sending a registered letter to this bum & 1) informing him that, should I get a single call from him or his b***h, I will NOT vote for him!!
2) I maintain a log of these calls, & will activate call trace, & file police report for harrassment.
3) will sue in small claims court, see how good his lawyering skills are!
