Voicemail that said it was Stacey. She got my info from Facebook and wants to talk to me about an advertising program.

I'm not sure if she just found my info from Facebook or if she actually works for Facebook.

    Marley from Facebook!
Hi, my name is Marley and I WORK WITH FACEBOOK.
This is the Facebook Marketing team that has been calling you from 1-800-889-4252.

This link below tells you exactly how to verify that the representative is legitimately a FB representative.
    https://www.facebook.com/help/372703956148310

Only users with an email domain of @sales.fb.com or @fb.com are legitimate Facebook Employees.

The Sales and Marketing team are only calling based off leads that we have received either because of a webinar you attended, a marketing e-book that you may have downloaded, or simply because you have a Facebook fan or business page.

**IF YOU DO NOT WANT US CALLING YOU BACK**
Simply tell us so!  We only try to help you expand your business by explaining the benefits of advertising on the Facebook platform.  If you are not interested, no problem.  Tell us over the phone or by email and we will stop calling.  Guaranteed.

I call [***]. The lady that called me, couldn't keep a date right, couldn't call me on off hours (due to work and I told her that)
TODAY she calls me back and wants to argue with me. I say to her "this isn't a good way to start this off ma'am. She then replies " you're right. you don't qualify for this anyways" she then hung up on me ......
I have called your office twice now to make a complaint.
Piss poor communication skills from your office and/or piss poor employees. Either way, I will not be a part of anything like this again. I will be boycotting this organization on their own network.
    I say good day.

The marketing team reminds me of Flea Market Wholesalers. Besides that, I was shocked at the lack of respect that this Marketing team has for it's customers. I have been getting calls from more then just the FB team since I first contacted the FB team in regards to my business. The main thing that bothered me is, the lady from this, calls me. She then proceeds to argue with me about the phone calls I'm getting. She then dodged my question about "how come you didn't call me last Thursday like we discussed" she then proceeded in arguing with me.  I finally said "look ma'am, I don't think this is a good way to start this off". She then replied "You're right. You're not qualified for this anyways" she then hung up on me.

It has been on my mind to call Facebook about advertising a business and it is very possible I sent a message asking for someone to call.  When I received a call today, however, they couldn't tell me if I called or when I contacted them - only that I was a lead. That would be the type of lag time between a request and a callback. Even if a company were running behind they couId send a message acknowledging receipt of the request.

This morning I asked for verification that I was speaking with Facebook and they asked for my e-mail to send it to me! This when I asked them to send me a note with pen and paper, he sounded like he didn't know what I was talking about! This may very well have been a legitimate call but giving out my e-mail for confirmation is not something I am ever willing to do. With all the viruses going around you would think a platform as large as Facebook would find a better way.

To be honest with you, my biggest problem with working with these 'marketing experts' is they have their own agenda. "Getting the CPA below $1.00 isn't going to happen in your demographic at the scale your looking for."

Two weeks after I stopped using their strategy and started using my own my CPI's are under $0.40 each. The best part about it? I called to explain my strategy with my rep, he laughed and said it won't last long and then proceeded to hang up on me.

That was 6 months ago. My CPI hasn't gone above $0.50 and I'm doing 2,000 signups / day on a 4 form submit outside of facebook.

Thanks Greg, your a real winner.
