They called my sisters in N.D. I live in S.D. They told them it was a legal matter & very important I call.She said an attorney in my town would serve me with papers if I did not make payment arrangements.

This number was on my caller ID. They never left a Company name . Just a message to call.

That's the guy who call me and leave the phone number and exit 3640. He said sombody has filed a paper aganist me if I don't call them back they will send me to the court. Their massage is not that clear.

I received a message about me being in debt and that if I don't call back before 8pm I would have to go to court the next day.  She said, "You are a young person and I would not like to see you have federal problems" She gave me a case number and everything.  Who are these people??????  Has anyone ever called back?????

I got the same guy and said something about the baker family and was going to court with an abandoned account.

They left messages saying I was willfully defrauding a bank. Credit card debt is not illegal. They will threaten to lock you up, take you to court, etc. Don't be afraid of them, they violate the Fair Debt Collection Laws!

They called my mother and led her to believe I was harmed or even dead trying to get information.  She called me in tears.  They had left a message for me that same day about,
"filing a motion for willful intent to defraud a bank".  When I called back they were horrible.  I told them I cannot pay anything right now and they said I was refusing to pay.  I was not refusing just unable.  It's about a credit card debt that is on my credit report as being charged off.  I am so upset and feel there is nothing that can be done.

Caller, Alex, called looking for my sister.  Said they were trying to locate her about a legal issue and coplaints they recieved.  They needed to hear both sides of the coplaint.  They requested a call back at referancing extension 63913 case #50391711-H10.

her name is KC Peters and she yelled and used harsh words on me over the phone.

The lady who left me a message said that if I didn't call back by noon, there would be a negative decision made against me.  I never call because if something is that serious, people are usually nice and courteous.  This peson was a bit harsh.

Sandra called my mother and told her that she was a Social Worker and I was involved in a very serious case.  She gave her a case number 5095-7975 and left an extension of 3680.  She asked my mother to call me right away as this was a life threatnening emergency.  My mother called me very tearful and asked me if I was ok.  It took me a while to convince her that that everything was fine.

A lady called us from this number also.

They called my place of work looking for a co-worker.  Sounded very serious and had ask him to call back to confirm sending something back over the fax.  She went so far as to ask for the company fax number!  Very sneaky.  I'm pretty shocked!

I got a call, not sure what the number that called was as it came up Private. I didn't answer as I have stopped answering numbers I don't recognize. Anyways they left a message, in the message they mentioned me by name and said they had a case that had been referred to them this morning. Didn't event mention what company that they were with. Last I heard a legit collections agency, while couldn't discuss a debt with anyone but you, had to at least say who was calling.

Somehow I expect this to be fraud. I know who my debts are with and none of them are with this company. And I know they can't be trying to collect on an old debt as all of them fall outside the the Statute of Limitations for the state of Missouri, which is 10 years. So if their trying to collect on those their doing it illegally.

Got another call today. Again I didn't answer. Again left a message. The first time there was someone on the other end as it sounded like a live person. This time it was an automated system. In fact it wasn't actually leaving a message. When the answering machine picked up it started its recorded message. I know it started before the beep as the first part of the message was cut off.

I am beginning to wonder though if one of the collection agencies, one of my accounts was with, has been sold the account to this bunch. I sent a cease and desist letter two weeks ago to United Recovery Systems for their illegal tactics and haven't heard from them in a week now.

I will find out. Any Debt Collector is supposed to send out something in the mail within five days after first contact or attempt thereof. If I receive nothing in the mail by this time next week I would say that it is likely to be fraud.

they called us asking about a neighbor too.  my mom is really pissed that these people somehow got our number.
