- LeviSome ridiculous message asking for "Cody Hall", and it sounds like the automated voice has an australian accent. Received about 10 of these in 4 months since I received a new cell phone number.
- BILLI keep receiving messages from this company. I call them back and tell them that person isn't at this phone number. They say my number isn't in their system but every few weeks I will get a call from them. I call them back and tell them that I am still receiving calls for that person and they are rude and say "WELL ITS NOT IN OUR SYSTEM SO YOU AREN'T RECEIVING CALLS" and promptly hang up on me. Who ever this company is their workers are rude and their automated system is harassing me.
- Jody SchromI keep receiving messages from this company asking for Linda K Cosfoid. They say my number isn't in their system but every few weeks I will get a call from them. I call them back and tell them that I am still receiving calls for that person and they say it's not in their system.. Who ever this company is their automated system is harassing me.
- KELLIEI Keep getting an automated message calls for a Brian McGill from this # and when I call back another automated message tells me all reps are busy and to keep trying back between the hours of 9am-2pm. Have not been able to reach a live person, but I keep getting these calls. Very, VERY ANNOYING!!! If I pay for my phone, why can't I block these types of calls!!!

- MarissaI keep getting a call from 800 840 6845. They tell me if I am not 'Orville Lyles' to call 800 894 4251 to have the number removed. Then I call it and it tells me I have to call between 9 AM and 2 PM.
- Caller: Unknown
- RayThis number apparently belongs to "MRS Associates", a debt collection agency.
- AlanIf you get a call from MRS Associates which is a debt collection agency call 18009324950 and someone should pick up. They are calling me for my ex-fiance. I asked the this second time to take the number off of the account because he no longer lives here.
- MJI received a voice message today, leaving this as a callback number. I called back and found myself in an automated hold system, which repeated a few times and then disconnected. On Alan's advice, I called 18009324950, and someone answered; apparently it was the people who had called. They claim that they are going to remove my number from their system.
(I've been receiving calls for "Louis Sallis" for most of the three years I've had my current phone number, and I've told countless people that the number is out of date, but the calls keep coming. Presumably this is just another group of screwheads; these days if I actually receive the call and hear that name, I just blow a whistle into the phone. It's rude and crude, but I've literally spent years trying to reason with these collection agencies and they keep calling. So, they can go deaf instead.) - JBGot 4 calls on my pre pay cell finally got ahold of these idiots told them is I get another call after the 24 hours I will bill them $100 for my time and cell time

and enter your cell phone number + other home numbers
This way, no one, including this dumb debt collect agency will be calling you to disturb or eat away your precious cell air time minutes. My cell phone customer service representative told me to click 'ignore' when you actually see it's calling you. Then, you retrieve the voice mail after 11:00pm. Haha... I'll do that to fight back their intruding efforts.
Good luck you guys. The person they are trying to reach is "Rinburt Moment". Whoever knows this guy, please tell him that the world is safe because no one is helping the Debt company to find him. haha- Caller: Verizon
- RJMy number is already registered on the Do Not Call registry. That won't stop this company from calling and claiming to be looking for someone else.
- beckthis company calls me and is actually contacting the right person. but before they verify they give out my info. here's an example of the call I just had:
caller: is this Beck?
me: yes, this is she.
caller: ok I need to verify your social security number. is it 0123?
me: wait a minute... why did you just give out my info without having any way of knowing you were talking to the right person?
caller: ma'am you just verified.
me: no I answered yes when you gave a name. anybody could have said the word yes to you after they might have also stolen my cell phone...
caller: well, then they would be commiting fraud.
me: yes and you would be assisting them.
from here the agent continued to laugh at me and get more and more rude...
when she finally transfered me to the so called manager, who was more rude than the original agent, she proceeded to repeat the last four of my social and manage to somwhere in there tell me to "act like an adult" just because I was upset.
Then asked if I had internet access. when my reply was yes there was a VERY long pause. I asked why she needed to know that and she said (GET THIS!) that she was just curious because it seems like I'm "living in the stone age"!!! hahaha I couldn't beleive the level of sophistication that was very evidently lacking!
basically I shared the content of my phone call because it's good for a laugh. these people are wasting their time. I can't imagine that they ever get anyone to cooperate with them by acting that way!
I also wanted people to realize that this so called "verifying" that they do is absolutely not ok! verifying means asking a question to be sure you're talking to the right person. not giving out info and letting the person on the other end of the line say "YES".
so, finally:
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO TO OR HOW I CAN REPORT THEM FOR GIVING OUT MY INFORMATION?- Caller: MRS associates
- Tim replies to JimThat number is for Blue Shield of CA, I think...
