Received a phone message from a recording stating the call was from "A.R.S" and they need to speak with me regarding a private business matter.  The recording said to call 1-800-909-9095 and ask to speak to Brian Gibson.  The recording did not leave a name of the person they were trying to reach, so I don't know if they have a wrong number or if they are really trying to reach someone in our household.

They left a message on my office phone and home phone saying to call about some reference number.  The pesson they asked for is not me.  They have called three times each number.

This number belongs to a collection agency called ARS.  They collect for several companies, one of which is JC Penney.  I called it & was put through to a manager who immediately attacked me verbally when he got on the line.  He told me he'd call whoever he wants whenever he wants, he'll keep calling there because he can & we just want to get out of paying the bill & I'm scared of him when I told him not to call my parents' house anymore b/c I don't live there.  He also told me I was on a recorded line.  We paid the bill over a year ago & it shows this on all 3 of our credit reports.  He said I was looking at the wrong reports.  We are currently trying to rectify this situation.

I know a fella who paid his retail store card in full to the minute, in there accounting office with a personal check, as to perpare to finance a commercial building, to stsrt a business. the retail store called him and told him he was late on his payment about two months later, and told him he would have to bring a copy of his canceled check to there office. He told them he had already done his job but they where welcome to come to his house and see the check, long story short his loan was denied and he setteled in court for 175000.00 loss of location, profits excet.

I got a call from this number and spoke to Hector. He was very pleasant and polite. He was calling looking for my ex husband. He told me the contact info that he had and I told him that was what I had. He left his number, extension and file number for me to give to my ex in case I spoke with him.

Left a message on my home phone looking for (an inaudible name left) and to call 800-909-9095 and it was in regards to referrence # 15402017.  Called and was on hold for over 10 minutes.  Called from my cell and keyed in the referrence number and got a live person.  Gave them the number and stated they couldn't find it.  Asked for the number the call was placed to and I refused to give it.  I asked them what type of business they were.  I was told they were a financial business.  I asked what kind, they stated they were in the billing department.  I asked if they were a collection agency and I was told that it didn't matter since I was not giving them the number the call was placed to.  I got pissed and hung up.

I have received 2 or maybe even 3 calls from this number. I believe it is a scam. They didn't even leave the name of the person they were trying to reach! Sounds fishy to me...

Have been calling my mother's house a lot lately demanding to talk to me and demanding information about me.  Incredibly rude to my mom.  Just called and I answered saying "she wasn't here right now, could I take a message" and he was very short and not willing to give anymore than a name and number. Mr. Randy Miller ext. 4063 stop calling my Mom's house!!!!

got a call from this company... not really surpirsed since the company i work for gets calls like this all the time... bunch of jerks!!!

Someone by the name of Mrs Jones called my parents' house phone for my boyfriend, who did not even KNOW my parents had a house phone. My step mom took a message to call back at 8009099095 x4073 and a file number. No way he's calling them back.

I get a call from these people sometimes twice a day for the past three months.  Has to be a scam since I have no outstanding debt and never did.  Any suggestions on how to stop it?  Coupled with all the political calls, I'm about to disconnect the land line.

I am getting calls from this number and the people that called are very nasty. Beware of the call. I am ready to report to the police. I will on the next call.

These people are a debt collection agency called C.A.R.S and are well known for their heavy handed way of dealing with "clients". I and lots of others have paid outstanding bills and yet they still continue to hound you. They will leave messages saying its a "businness matter" and when you call back they will threaten all sorts of things if you dont pay up. If you have no outstanding bills etc IGNORE THEM, and get back to the original compay you owe the money to. I have paid my bill years ago and they STARTED to hassle me last year. They had obviously bought a list of debtors from Littlewoods who had failed to remove my name from the list. I totally ignored them as I have receipts etc to show I have paid so they could do their worst. The calls went on for a few months and then stopped. They are a shower of [***], do not worry about them.

Prank/Scam

They actually called my ex-husband or his wife, or both. Silly people. I've been divorced since 1997. You rang the wrong house by a long shot. If they are a debt collector, I don't know how they operate, but you won't find me there.
