calls several times a day. At one point at least 7 times in one day.
This is beyond harassment and I am very annoyed. caller is very unprofessional and laughs a you when you try to find out what this is about.

This person says he is Joshua James and that he is calling about a Fraud case against a major credit card. Won't give me the name of the company or a number to call back.

They have been calling my number non stop asking for someone who is not at this number. The last time they mis represent themselves and say they are calling from my state court house.......
oh boy I am turning them in!

I have been getting calls from these people for 2 weeks now. They will call my home and cell phone 6 to 10 time a day each. They have threatened me that if I don't pay now, they'll have me in court next week. They scared me bad enough at first that I borrowed $2000.00 from my Mother and paid them a partial payment. Now mind you, my Mother was ill in the hospital with cancer at the time.
Once I paid the $2000.00 they continued calling me demanding another $9000.00 immediately. I had informed them that the cell phone they were calling was not mine, but a family members. They continued to call it and spoke to my Aunt. They gave her all of my information, including how much debt I owed and and how I have not paid. They also threatened her that they would have me in court next week. They called her wanting to know where I was going to be so they could serve me, or so they said.
My sister in law answered that same cell phone just yesterday and informed them that we had spoken to the FTC and that we now have a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and that they were harrassing me and that we know they have broken several laws from that act. She also told them that I was sending a letter of cease and desist (which you all SHOULD send), so they may as well stop the harrassment now. Of course they didn't and are still calling me.
The names I have are Mrs. Washington and Tonya Mays. No one else has ever given me a name. They haven't given me an account number or anything else either. I know I owe this debt. I have never denied that. If I had the $11000.00 to pay it right now like they insist I do, I'd have already paid it to the debtor, and I certainly would have never had to experience this harrassment. The debtor will just have to accept the payments that I can pay and deal with it.

Everyone experiencing calls from them really need to contact their states Attorney General's office, and send this company a letter of cease and desist.

I'll be more than happy to post an update once I have receipt in hand that I know they have received my letter.

We have received several phone calls over the past 2 months. My wife who has a disability is disturbed many times by this annoying individual. He keeps calling , asking for my sons telephone number. We do not anything about this company and who they represent. My son does not either. We are not not giving out telephone numbers to anyone we do not know. Is there a way to block this 800 number?

Let me tell you I am in the process of reporting them to the BBB. They called here the other day 19 TIMES! I answered it one time and they asked for my boyfriend i said he was not home can i take a message and he hung up on me. Then he called back the following day and i answered it, He said HATEFULLY my boyfriends first day and then hung up. I am tired of this we took the phone off the hook last night because they would not stop calling!

Here's the message we received. Have no idea who these people are and am working on getting ID theft cleared up.
Received 2/3/08 0939 am: "This is extremely urgent message (inaudible) contact the one (my name). Ms (my name), my name is Joshua Dane calling in regards of a recommendation (unintelligible words) State of Montana pertaining to file mumber 4, excuse me 1145390. Now, Ms (my name) this is a very time sensitive matter. I have received documents on my desk here in the office which are definitely due to collections (unintelligble words) wo it is going to be in your best interest to contat the office of Joshua Dane regarding this matter here immediately. The number to reach me at if you wish to do so is going to be 1-800-925-6141. The direct extension to my office is 1530. I repeat that number is 1-800-925-6141, office extension 1530. Thank you and good-bye."
I suggest that anyone dealing with these people have their voice mail leave a message on your computer also. That gives you the recording you need to file a lawsuit, which is our next step.

Absolute bottom feeders 3rd party collection tactics....and illegal at that...
I would never send a payment to this organization-- never a mailing to this house in anything under this name yet hundreds of phone calls for a few months and never any concrete info.  I been receiving several phone calls a day  ( sometimes over 20) from this number coming in as unknown for months. They hang up most of the time if no one answers.  I have NEVER received a letter from them or know why they are calling. They claim they  are either an attorney or they have a settlement offer for today or have an arraignment date set up for next week for a specific person unless this person can "settle" on the phoene by tonite.  When I tell this person respectfully who calls to send a certified letter to this "person" at the correct address with any original paperwork to support whatever procedures are to be taken... they hang up on me.
Even with  courteous persistant requests ( I have never gotten into an altercation with any of them even though voice wise they are hostile )  to stop calling several times they still  continue. The person  on the other end never tells me the name of the company from where they are calling -- the reason I know it is this company is bc a   minute  or 2 before I receive a call from them  that I pick up...another call has already come in and voice mail will pick it up-- Bill Jones leaves a message to call no one specific  for a personal matter at this number at 1-800-925-6141 before he is about  to "render a decision". Since they do not get any info from me that they are phishing for they always just hang up on me when I ask them something or offer advice about sending out a letter of verification certified. Wouldn't a legitimate collection agency do this to cover their tracks if they were really collecting a debt?
Bottom line...who would ever trust to send  a company like this any  payment with these tactics everyone here is experiencing ?

The one CSR  from this company told me she was TAPING all conversations for proof of any information she obtained (yeah right) even tho I wasn't the one they were calling for --  so  to define all of your concerns on their "TAPING"  so to speak ... I would address any illegalities they are performing via conversation... let them know immeditaly  that this is the Nth time you have requested mailings from them ONLY and to STOP  calling several times a day.

I am sure there is no way all this is legal.  If a person is unaware that a debt is still out there, how cna they be sued for not paying?  Why would they be able to get away with being quiet, sending no bills and making no calls and then coming out of the wood work with all this interest and expect payment in full today?

They called my house and told my roommate they had a bench warrant out for my arrest. I immediately called the number (i have traffic ticket but it wasn't the due date but still called them just in case it was that.)
It was Amy Noble ext 1219.

She told me they were thinking of taking me to court and which would result in a bench warrant for my arrest. She had I had until the 23rd of May to pay 20% of my 5,000 debt. I offered payment arrangements and she said ok but couldn't guarantee they could stop the collection process but could postpone it. Then told me they only take payments from checking and savings accounts. I told her I don't have those, I have a direct deposity Visa debit card. (Hate bank accounts.) She then asked if I was in telecheck services for having a history of bounching bad checks. Told her it was none of her business why I don't have a bank account.

She then said, "Oh, I see you are from Texas, why don't you ask your family down there for the money."

I told her my family was dead. Which is the truth.  She didn't respond too pleasantly with that. Even asked if my roommate could loan the money.

I then told her if she couldn't take my debit card payment then there were no other options and I hung up.

I was / am harrassed by "officer Stephen R. Nichols" 800-925-6141 x 1168 and they gave me a 7 digit - 4 digit +ca at the end. Left threatening voice mail

x1114  Thereis a woman and a man harassing my grandmother and recently my sister!  They told my sister that SHE is involved in a lawsuit filed against me in the City of ___ . I don't understand how it can be legal for them to call anyone they please and harass them, and I know it's illegal to disclose any information (bold face lies, or otherwise) to anyone other than the individual in question.  

The client needs to hire a new company for their collections.  I have tried to work with them and they are simply obnoxious and vile.  People have mouths to feed, mortgages to save so they don't end up on the street.  Clearly if you had a good payment history they can see that you're not, as they put it, REFUSING TO PAY, you simply are unable to pay what they are asking.  I have set up payment plans with other debts and those are working out well.  These nasty @ss people just want to f#&k up your day.

Joshua James (ext 1530) from National Enterprise Systems (NES) left me a very scary voicemail about a Fraud Case against me and that I had to call him by the end of the day.  I know now that it was a bad idea for me to call him back.

I told him I know I owe the money but I’m unemployed and don’t have any money to give them right now.  He insisted that I had money or a job; he wanted to know how I was paying for rent and my phone…  He said that they were going to find my assets and garnish my wages.  He also said that I would have a fraud case filed against me and that I would be going to court and I would have to pay filing fees, court costs, and attorney’s fees.  I’m pissed!!!

What they like to do with me is they will call my cell once, maybe twice, them my husband's phone several times and my work several times! Today Kevin from NCO his extension is 1949, was extremely rude to MY BOSS when she informed him I could not receive personal calls at work. He had told her that she better not have "misrepresented herself as my boss in this legal matter." I almost lost my job, lets see them get any damn money if that happens. Their company just went back in the hat to be drawn out
