They hung up on me! WTF??

A Tammy Lynn called my mom, brother, and ex-husband (whom I have not talked to in several years) requesting I call back in regards to a complaint filed against me.  When I called back, I spoke to Gary Lonsdale (sp?) from UCB who was calling on behalf of CitiGroup.  If anyone wants to file a complaint against UCB, first review the FTC website on debt collection.

a person named Robbin called. She wanted me to tell my neighbor to call her.

Mary Romas called me asking for my grandmother and stated that she needed to call MAry because of a complaint that my grandmother made!! I checked the 800 number while I was on the phone with her and asked her about it....she hung up on me.

I have received multiple calls from Mary Ramos.  Today I received two calls at 9 am from "Mary Ramos" at UCB.  They gave two different phone numbers and they were obviously NOT the same person.

A "Ms Williams" called my brother in law and ask for me to call her back. I don't even know his number and they manage to get it. WTF.

I am called frequently and get the message to call back 800-925-9018 extension 63712 regarding a neighbor (with a name I never heard before). I never call back. See https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-925-9018 for people who called back.
Please complain to FTC about this calls - more complaints, quicker we get rid of these calls.

A Sidney called from UCB to have my ex-son-in-law return her call. I do not have his current phone number. Don't know why they called my house to contact him.

Mrs Tucker called my 82 year old mothers home with a harrassing call.
Looking for a Elizabeth Raymond.
Company stated it was UCB.
I am filing a FCC complaint against UCB.

Person at UCB called my place of employment and left a message with phone number, extension number and reference number.  This is highly unacceptable.

I received a phone call from Cynthia Cole @ ext 63788 for my sister (our numbers are under completely different names that have no relation). how did they get my number? why are they calling me....

I get daily msgs from a cheryl looking for a william J.  
Good thing this is to my google voice number so it is converted to text and then sent to me without ringing my phone. Piece of advice, everybody get a free google voice number and use that number for anything that asks for your phone number. you don't really want to get these spam calls ringing your phone at all hours on inconvenience. once you answer, they know they have a live phone number. they may be systematically calling numbers to locate the live numbers to sell to marketeers.  I have signed up with do not call/do not junk mail me and I though it has reduced the legitimate businesses, it will never stop the fly by nite illegitimate businesses. I pay all my stuff in full so i don't owe anybody (UCB) anything (except my mother and father who I owe everything:) )

Claims to be a collection agency. They left multiple messages over several weeks, but never say who they are calling for. I don't owe anything and have immaculate credit rating.

I do not answer numbers I don't recognize but this one left a message---Michelle from United Collection Bureau called in an attempt to collect a debt and left this number 8009259018.

I received a call today from a female and she left a message on my cell voice mail saying she was from the collection agency and I needed to call back in regards to settling a dept with a call back number. This person didn't even give a name on whom she was calling about. I guess this is a lure to get you to call back.
