This is a company CBCS, they are a company William Beaumont Hospital uses as a debt collector. They are very rude, inconsiderate and berating. I spoke with several people there trying to get info rgarding a bill and was hung up on twice. Good luck to anyone with a debt with them.

Got a call today from this number asking for my g/f .. They tried to get me to tell them where she worked ect. The guy as nice . But obviously was trying o get personal info from me on my g/f.

We live in Michigan . So they may work with Michigan hospitals also . Heritage,Oakwood, ect.

they called me asking for me or my boyfriend. We have no bills in both our names. I called there number back 800-933-6773 and it asks me to hold and then hangs up... Cannot get through to see what they want...

They called here looking for my dad it was Tammy from CBCS looking for William (my dad) then asked if I was his wife, I replied no then stated it was his daughter, she asked me if the address was the same and his place of work. I told her to call back cause I dont give out other peoples personal information, is this a scam of a type my dad has no bills, he is always on time with his finances, so it really dont make sence to me.

I got this phone call on my prepaid cell, she identified herself from CBCS for attempted debt collection.  She left message to call back 800-933-6773.  I did not call back because I did not owe anyone and checked my only credit card that I am using and I was told that there is no blemish on my credit report.  HIGH SCORE.  I think these people are scammers, and just wanted to get personal info to steal your identity. Watch out!

This company has been trying to collect a hospital debt from "me" for the past 2 years that DOES NOT EXIST.  Ive asked them numerous times to send me something via mail and have never received a documented bill.  I have also called the hospital they are collecting for, and the account they are trying to collect on does not exist.
I believe this company (CBCS)is trying to pull a scam.

Just who is William Beaumont Hospital? and where are they located? Are they ligit or what? They call at least once a week and are stating that they are trying collect on a debt.

Just got 2 calls from them this morning, within a 1/2 hour.  It comes through as Withheld and I have my phone set to reject Withheld and Unknown calls.  I figure if they are legit, why do they need to hide their number??? I get too many telemarketer calls as Withheld or Unknown, so I don't want to deal with them.  I found out what the phone number was because they left a vague recorded voice message both times that obviously started before my phone started recording.  It said "any information will be used for that purpose - again that number is 800-933-6773"  that's it.  I'm not calling someone back who won't identify who they are, what company they're calling from and/or what they are calling about.

I also had a message from Kay who stated she was from CBCS at 800-933-6773 and said that she was trying to verify employment.  I am keeping the recording of her message and reporting her for lying.  She is attempting to collect a debt, not verify employment.  There is a very good attorney in Davison, Michigan that will sue collection agencies like this for trying to take advantage of people, as long as you have the proof.

My advise, get an attorney, sue these people. They ARE disclosing your personal information to other people. I just got a call here at work for a person who doesn't even work here, and "Chelsea" gave me a TON of information on the person that they were looking for. This is a DIRECT violation of the F.D.C.P.A. Total bone head move. p.s. I WORK AT another collection agency.

Multiple Calls, No Messages.  All times of day. even 7:30 in Morning. Answer they hang up. Yes I have other medical bills but mine are from Henry Ford Hospital not Beaumont. Beaumont is Located near Detroit. So MAYBE Henry Ford is using them now but either way they can still kiss my A_ $. If they harass me I just ignore them. I am already making payments to Henry Ford for other crap.

Anyone know what CBCS stands for to report them??? When you ask they won't tell you.

Yes, William Beaumont Hospital is real.  There are 2 main hospitals (Royal Oak & Troy, MI) and several smaller facilities.  I get calls from CBCS or whatever it is because the hospital refuses to work with me on a payment plan.  Assuming you have a hospital debt the call is legit.

I too told them to mail the info to an address which they never did

i keep getting calls from them asking for people who do not live here nor do i know. 3 different people they have asked for in last 5 calls. told them who my family was and please quit calling this number to this i got hung up on. how can i get this to stop i live in Pa and no where near their hospital and no i dont know any individual they have called for.

Lady with a nice voice called, asked for Mohammad Alabin, told her wrong number,(and it is) she was polite and said, 'ok sorry thank you good bye", LOOK OUT MOHAMMAD THEIR LOOKING FOR YOU.

call the Better Business Bureau report them

I answer the phone and get silence from the other end. This has happened 3 times this week.

Receive several calls from this number all times of the day. Finally answered, asked for me under my maiden name (haven't been that for a while.) Must be a debt collector, I don't have any medical debts though so I'm not sure what it's regarding.

I agree.  We have no outstanding debt so they have no reason to contact us.
