I have no doubt its a debt collection.  Left threatening message on my answering machine about taking me to court.

They left a message with my daughter in laws mother.  I have no idea how they tracked her! It is bazar!

My mother and I both received calls from this number asking for my former brother-in-law regarding a serious matter that was not a sales or solicitation.
Then gave a long file number to reference. The woman identified herself as Mrs. Charles.

Probably a debt collector, says it's a serious matter. They leave this phone number but when I return the call they will not tell me WHO they are and I hung up although they do know the last four of my social security number. Anyone can get that! They won't tell me who they are until I verify my SS #. They are a rude and abrasive people. Until they say who and what they are calling about they won't get very far with me.

This 800-935-1798 is Getting either clever or very stupid. They just went through my cell phone carrier and sent me a text. This is so bad right? Well here is the good part they used my cell phone carriers text service sent me a text using my wifes credentials online. The text read as it was from my wife and wanted me to call he back at work as soon as possible at 1-800-935-1798 as her call back number. What was realy interesting is that it showed on my cell phone with her caller ID from are cell phone carrier...  They again are getting realy TRICKY or REALY STUPID for a collector this is vital pass it on and notify the FCC. I have found some info showing this is Highly Illegal and some are not sure. I'm weighing towards the Illegal side. Don't forget pass this on....

Called looking for someone we never heard of and told me he was a relative my husband. When I asked who they were since this appeared to be a scam or identy thieft Ms Hudson became abuse , threatened to investigate me and then hung up

I have 5 missed calls on my house phone and 4 on my cell in a matter of 2 minutes from 954.  Mr Barry from 800.935.1798 ex 63962 called me on my cell and my house phone ( my house number is not given out and is unlisted) left messages on both phones saying it was a legal matter to which he felt I had no awareness of, he wanted me or my attorney to call him back immediately. I have been reading a lot about this 800 number harrasing people and texting them from other peoples number to make it look like it is the other person texting and not the company. I did call my attorney and told him what was going on, I gave him all the information and he is going to get back to me. If I find out who these people are I will let everyone know.

800-935-1798 Is UCB United Credit Bureau, and they are ruthless! my dealings with them come via Citi bank credit card, i have paid them a about of 1100.00 from march through may and they still keep calling harassing calling friends family neighbors threats of attorneys courts, hanging up in my face, screaming at me it goes on and on and on and the even crazier part is that its my husbands card not mine they call my house 7to8 times a day, they also have a F plus rating with the BBB and citi still does bussiness with them, total and complete MOB tackets i would rather them break my leg!

Wouild not give any information but was quite professional in approach. I called the main # back and tried to engage a very nasty and rude person who answered . Sounded like a debt collector for a "sleaze" company.

I actually work for the company and decided to rev the num to see what neg or positive feedback people would write.. it's all negative.. UKB aka United Collection Bureau is a collection company for Citi Bank and Chase in our other office.... and when it is our office it is a prelegal status and requires your immediate attention we have the ability to settle your account for up to 60% discount and u don't have to pay a lawyer or a DSA..and or a CCC which steal your money .... our client will get their money one way or another it's up to you guys if you want to do that on a voluntary basis... or you can wait and after it leaves our office and you get a letter in the mail requesting you show up in your local court don't call us back it's too late and then they get bal in full

They left a message on my answering machine today, asking for my husband's EXWIFE! They called my hubby and I by name and said that we were left as references. We do NOT get along with my husband's ex, so I'm 100% positive she wouldn't have used us as a reference for ANYTHING. Additionally, we've only had this number for 3 weeks, the ex does NOT have this number so how the hell did the collection company get our UNPUBLISHED number?!

They are the internal collection agency for Citibank/Citigroup.

My mother and father-in-law got a call asking for me by my maiden name. I never use my maiden name because I'm married and I never give out my Inlaws number. The lady was not American speaking she left a # for me to call "NOT" 800-935-1798 ext: 63607?????? Who in the world is this and Herasment in very much against the LAW....

Woman left 2 messages to call her back.  I never did and never will.  My credit is perfect and I intend to keep it that way.  This is definitely a scam...so beware!

This number has been spamming my phone just about every day since August 10th, 2018 up to now. I've never picked up, as my phone marks it as "Scam Likely". I have plenty of reason to believe that is true.

I have no debt collectors that should even be calling me, so it's an obvious red flag. This number should be reported to an appropriate authority for investigation, so that they leave folks alone.

Sounds too good to be true! Please give me a call back!
