This number calls me every other day - usually only rings once.  Comes up in all 0's.  Finally left a message but could not understand anything but this number to call back.

Calls, hangs up, leaves no message.

This company is somehow based on harassment. they call every day asking for a different person each time.  Then they ask for my name so they can "clear" their records.  I believe they are fishing for info and refuse to give them any information.  This company has been sued by MN for this behavior.  If I knew how to initiate a class-action suit, I surely would do so.  The company is Allied Interstate and they are some sort of debt collection agency.

Calls several times to my cell and the house line. If you don't answer they don't leave a message. If you answer, they hang up.  Very annoying!

I get calls from this number, but since I don't answer unknown numbers, I keep expecting a voicemail of some sort.  Not from this number.  Its very annoying because sometimes they call several times a day.

fishing for info? yes. did a google search on the company. went to their website. It's a very small website by the way it has 4 tabs.  1) ABOUT US 2) CONSUMER PLEDGE -very comical, a must read! 3) PRIVACY STATEMENT 4)CONTACT US *note that they ask you to have the last 4 digits of your social ready. they also ask for your number... don't they have it already? I get random calls from this number. I no longer answer. calling, and hanging up, or saying nothing when I say "Hello?", and not leaving a message is in no way a proper form of trying to collect a debt, and so I say, if the debt is for me, let them sue me. I will use this in court. I have proof I've answered. It's their job to prove that we had an actual communication about any questionable debt.

Allied Interstate Inc: Do they harass consumers quite often?

This number calls my cell phone on a regular basis. They hang up most of the time but when somebody finally does speak, they try to get personal information from you to "verify" their records, however they won't identify themselves???

Calls my house leaves no message. No one speaks if I should pick up.

Called me today. I just changed my number 3 days ago. I was sleeping when they called. So I called back and a lady answered saying "allied interstate" said she was after my father. Told her I had no contact with him. She said it could take up to 48 hours for my number to be taken off the list. I was nice and so was she.

I keep getting calls from this number but no one is there & thy never leave a message.  If you call back it is a non working number.  Very harassing because we are disabled seniors.

When they say the call is being recorded I tell them to please call back immediately so that I may also record our conversation.  Never, not once, has an agency called right back.  I refuse to speak to any agency or provide any info - noT even my name - unless they respect MY right to record THEM.

They keep calling and hanging up as soon as I answer.  I called back and they asked for someone that doesn't even live here.  I told them to stop calling and hanging up.

Just got a call from them this morning. First they tell me they are from Allied Interstate and that the call is being recorded but then refuse to disclose why they are calling me until I verify a bunch of personal information (name, address,dob,ssn) which I did not verify but they already had it!!! This was very scary for me as there is no reason why a debt collector should be calling me. I don't know who these people are but they are not legit. They can't be.

I got calls of them early in the morning ,when I have a sick person in the house !

All I get on a message is being recorded..ok yes you are being recorded dumby people its a voice mail.they never say a name or why they are calling..
