i just want to know who it is calling me

Calls twice a day and doesn't leave a message.  I have yet to answer the call.  I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I will have to blacklist this number if they keep calling without leaving a message.

I have been getting these calls during the day everyday. I was home today when they called again. After listening to their so called 60 second speech I ended up having to hang up.  They say the are the Utah fraternal order of police. Not sure if they are legit but I was wary of the person I was listening to.

Don't think it is legit if they say they are from UT fraternal order of police.

These idiots call me twice a day, I never answer because I don't know who they are and they never leave a message. Why do they have to bother us?

We called the number, and a fairly polite and business-like person said that they were the fraternal order of police doing fund-raising.  I assume they have hired some people who are not so well trained to do some of their calling.

I am not sure but some called me from this number asking for the lady of the house??? I do not know who it is but, it is getting really annoying... they have been calling me just about everyday.

Twice a day, everyday since December.

I get a call a couple times a week with no voicemail.  Super annoying, looks like its just a fundraising gig.  They are calling my cell phone.  About ready to slam some heads.

They called before, calling themselves the fire department.  We called the fire department to ask about it, and they told us it was a scam.  Now they're calling themselves the police department, but they go through the exact same spiel when you answer.  It's the same thing.

I just called the Fraternal Order of Police and talked with someone.  It is legit but it is some sort of human computer type interface where the person on the line just punches keys for responses.  What your hearing is a recording supposedly.

The calls are ligit, they are a fundraising group calling on behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police, Utah State Lodge.  If you want to have your number on the do not call list, you can send your phone number to ryanh@familytv.com and we will not call you back.

I have also gotten calls twice a day and when I call back they hang up on me.  I would like to know how they got my cell phone number.

They call twice a day(afternoon and evenings) and hang up when I answer the call.  I call back and their number is busy.

Per Robert's message above, I called 801-281-3250 at 8:39 PM and it went straight to a fax machine.

Of Course it went to a fax machine.  It's 8:39PM at night.  Just razzing you but anyhow the number automatically goes to a fax after a few rings according to the Gentleman I spoke with.  I heard him answer right before it went off and I called back.  People it is legit just give the phone to your wife and let her handle it.  Just Joking around again.  I hate anyone calling me to sell me or get me to donate anything.  How about I hate telemarketers period.

I received a call from this number.  He asked for "the lady of the house," then went on to say he was calling on behalf of the fraternal order of police, but not to worry because I wasn't "in trouble."  He went on to ask if he could count on my "support," but whenever I asked about specifics (Do you mean you want a donation?  Do I have to do it over the phone?) I would get a roundabout response that failed to really answer my question.  At one point he just paused and then repeated (word for word, with the exact same inflection) an earlier statement.  Seemed like a recording at that point, but one that was activated by voice or controlled by a person.  Kinda creepy.  If it's legit, I suggest they don't solicit that way anymore -- it is a turnoff, seems suspicious.

Be sure to file a complain if your phone is registered on the do not call list.  They just called my home phone, my cell phone and my wife's cell phone.  All 3 are on the do not call list.
