Likely FRAUD, Call was Fishing for Credit Card info. A Recording said This is Bank of America, Your debit card has been Locked, to unlock Press1

A Recording said Hello from Wells Fargo, We regret to inform you your debit card has been Locked, to unlock Press1.
The recording was a little shady, like not done on message software but like they used of one of those Hearing assistance websites that speak for the deaf and recorded it and set it up to play on the phone when a call is answered. It didnt even wait for voice recognition to start the play back, it just starts.. not professional. AND i dont even have a Wells Fargo account...

Same Wells Fargo recording as mentioned above.  "Your debit card has been locked. To unlock press 1".   It also went on to say "verify your Social Security number"  (and it did have the number!)  That's SCARY!  We don't have a Wells Fargo account.

I got the same recording just now. FWIW: My phone shows that the call originates in Ogden, UT.

Called me, no message left.

Said our Bank of America card was locked. We don't have a BofA card.

Called and said my Bank of America debit card locked. Don't have an account. Tried to get through to a live person by pressing 0. No dice. Likely fraud.

This number robo-called, said my Bank of America debit card was locked and asked me to enter the full card number.  I hung up and called Bank of America customer service.  They confirmed that my card was fine and that they NEVER call and ask for full card numbers.  Watch out, this number is not the bank!

This number called saying my debit card was locked due to security reasons. I was told to press 1, and they then asked for my social security #. Hung up because this is totally fraud!

This number is calling me about a lost debit card to enter my debit card number

VERY, VERY ANNOYING. I also got a missed call from 801-396-8280. called back, and, obviously busy single.

Very, very annoying. at one time. if kids pulled these pranks and got caught, well, I rather not say.
I never pulled these scams. as I had more then enough common sense. still some kids have good sense.

Robot voice started right in, stating it was B of A and my credit card was locked. Press 1 now. Sounded fishy so I hung up.

This is almost certainly a scam.  Check your account online or use your card at an atm if you are really worried.

Just got a call from this number - same message everyone else is getting.

Got a call saying my B of A debit card was lost, don't have a B of A debit card.  

Just got a call too. Same # (801...) and they start right away saying your "Bank of America debit card has been locked, press 1 to reactivate it". Seems like a huge fishing scam! Be ware! I called Bank of America and reported this # right away.
