Got a call from this number this morning at 8:20AM.  They didn't leave a message.  It's listed as "XO" in Salt Lake City, UT.  Anyone have anymore information about it would be appreciated.

Received a call this morning, no message.  I have no information about who is calling.

I believe it is Morningstar.  They are in several businesses and have an investment research branch.  I belive they are trying to sell something.

I have been getting calls from this # also.  Today a pleasant woman was on the line offering me a deal to subscribe to a Morningstar newsletter. She asked for my credit card number!!!  End of phone call.

I get Multiple calls a day with nobody on the other line

It is Morningstar.  If you go to www.morningstar.com, you'll see who they are and what they do.  They provide research on stocks and mutual funds.  While they do a good job at what they do, I don't think the way they go about generating new business is very productive and sheds a bad light on them.

I called them and told them I wasn't intersted.  They use to call me about once a week.

I'm a late rise and they woke me up at 8:10am in the morning.  I didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message, so I can't be certain it was Morningstar.  I need to figure out how to update my phone to not ring for phone #s that I don't know.  I get so many wrong numbers and sales people.

Its Morningstar.  I got a couple calls from them and didn't feel like answering.  I did today and it was them trying to get me to renew my subscription.

- I have received one  (sometimes two)  calls a day almost daily from this number (801-413-5911) for about the last month and a half.  I never answer it, so cannot identify or verify the caller or purpose.

- Phone search reveals it to be an *unpublished* landline in Salt Lake City, UT.  

- I tried to call them (blocking my own number) but the number cannot be dialed into.  
     (message: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed.")

It is Morningstar.

this number call us every week. we have no debt issues. and do not know why they continue to call us they do not leave a message. cid comes up as Morningstar.  and we do not give to charities

Received a call from (801)413-5585.  Did not answer as I didn't recognize the number and they left no message.  I have reason to believe it is Morningstar as indicated by others as I receive 2 or 3 calls per week from Morningstar which I never answer.  Thanks to all who posted

i am a subscriber to Morningstar and if they call ever call again i will cancell their service.
Google is another offfender along with the multiple nonsense surveys.
I have a home office and have registered my numbers with do not call", however that public monitoring is just a courtesy service that does nothing at all other than provide a resource of numbers that dont want calls , it does not stop or hinder anyone.

It is so bad that neither my wife or I ever answer a call util we have confirmation of sender.
If congress wants something useful to do they should ban these calls once and for all and only allow the mail to be the junk provider- perhaps it would help pay for the Post Office

I answer, then I hear silence. They disconnect the line a few seconds later. This has been going on for about ten weeks on a pay-as-you-go phone, and it happens about twice a week. Why does this happen?

I called the number and you are right it is Morningstar.

I have received several calls from this number. This morning was another one. I was in the barn and could not talk and have asked to have my name and number taken off the list.  They STILL call. I will never, and have never, done business over the phone.  

Caller ID says this is "Morningstar CI". They called once last week and again this morning, but they haven't left a message -- guaranteeing that I'm never going to pick up. We have no credit issues.
