I received a call from 8015451800 and it is a scam as my preferences are off, there is no notification via email in my eBay or registered linked eBay email accounts and I have received three phishing emails claiming to be from eBay...but were not. You have a right to be concerned.

Caller said they were from ebay and would send an email. I found no such email in all my accounts including ebay.

Called about my account, promotional call, left voicemail

Called to say they were verifying my new e-bay account and the item I listed.  If they are not from ebay, how did they get my number?

Called saying they are from ebay and want me to take part of a survey and earn $115.  They have called and emailed me several times.  I forwarded 2 emails to spooof@ebay.com but have not heard back yet.

My preferences are OFF, too, and they called this morning. I am also on the National Do Not Call list.

I got called today and the lady just gave me some info on the new insertion fees of just 35 cents for fixed items. It was the first time I was called by ebay and I was waiting for some sales pitch or anything else but nothing came. I sounded a bit paranoid and the lady told me she sensed that but we hung up on a cheery note.

Seriously, all the people who think this is a scam what on earth do you have to base that opinion on? Nothing! The only suspicious details are that the email she promised to send me to my email address never came and my preferences for being contacted by ebay are off.

eBay calling to inform me of recent site and policy changes.

This is a legit call.  eBay has recently changed their policies and I've also received emails and messages from them regarding this.

This call is legitimate and from eBay!. Just received regarding June selling changes. She left a full voicemail

This was a legit call from ebay. I applied for a job and this person called me back from there.  and my husband works there.

get these calls all the time - its some one who buys off ebay then harasses the people

I'm recieveing emails and phone calls from 801-545-1800
JEFF, he's saying my account is suspended and that I need to give a bank statement and my drivers license... I have no idea what is happening
He wouldn't give any information as to why it's happening, wouldn't give last name or any type of phone number

Did not answer call but ID says "UTAH CALL" and no mention of eBay.

I got called today.
I'm sure that they are officials.

Because, I'm Japanese, and I didn't give out my number to any foreigners other than PayPal.
I made PayPal & eBay account few days ago.

Caller asked me that
1. I made a account of eBay or not
2. I have spot stock(I've gotten up on eBay) or not
and then, she said "Just checking," or something like that.

I've worked for eBay for the past 10 years. (801) 545-1800 is the number that all employees  in the Salt Lake City(801) area code appear to be calling from when we make outbound calls. I have a direct extension, but I don't want everyone on the planet to be calling me directly for help. I work in a certain department and can only help with issues that I'm trained in or have authority to deal with.

If your preferences are set, we should not call you for promotional type calls. However, if you have certain trust and safety issues or billing we'll be calling you regardless of your preferences.

I've receive 2 calls today from this number.  The first one left no msg the second started to speak then stopped.  So I called ebay THIS IS A SCAM and their fraud team is working on it.  I'm guessing most of the people leaving messages here saying this isn't a scam are part of it, which is why I'm leaving this note.

It really is Ebay. They just blocked my account and I have to wait for an email back to find out why.

I received a phone call from this number today asking for my ebay password!!! The call came from Utah. Upon calling the number back...there was a woman on the recording saying it was ebay....the guy asked where I got my items to sell and obviously knew what they were. CREEPY.
