debt collection agency. pay your bills but do not deal with them!

Parasites. Thank God for the opportunity in America for people to make money on other people's business, in biology, these things are called parasites.  These people call me every day to "verify my address" on an emergency phone (I'm on call 24 hours a day, and this is the emergency call phone.  I have another and I've told them not to call on this line... either they have 0 communication and don't notate account and conversation info or they're just a piggish arrogant bunch of slimes who don't care).  Calling me every day when I've told them I am entering bankruptcy proceedings.  "Well let me just verify some information..."  How about you copy and paste what I told you yesterday.  These idiots will spend 100X the amount I owe on the call center agent they pay to make the calls... thats the genius of these parasites. And I've told them before the debt istelf isn't legit... unfortunately in order to work that out in court, I have to afford an attorney.  If I could afford an attorney, do yuo think I'd be having trouble paying my debts you [***]?

It is illlegal for a debt collecter to call your bbusiness. Document it and sue them for harrasment and violation of the fair debt collection act. Tell them you are recording the call. You have got to show that you can not expect privacy on that line.
