Report a phone call from 801-705-5325 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- SROur credit card company Chase Visa was smart to call our attention to an online transaction charge of 44.95 by a business called Repromoters in Utah on Feb 23rd.
We have never dealt with any such company and have no idea how they got all the info to back up the transaction.
The tel# given to us by the credit card folks 801-705-5325 yielded an extraordinary wait time and no real person. I could only leave a voice-mail. - DWBI have a 49.95 charge on my credit card with this number -- 8017055325 REP00 OF 00 801-7055325 UT. I have no idea of who this is. When I call they call themselves real estate promoters and say send an email to support@realestatepromoter.com. I look up that website and it is a website selling service. I am disputing the credit card charge.
- AniI have a charg for $49.95 on my credit card with this no 8017055325 REP00 OF 00 801-7055325 UT. I have no idea what it is.I want to open a dispute on my credit card
- TWSame thing happen to me. I was debited 44.95. I had to close my account and open a new one. Who are these people
- Todd PersynThey call all the time from Utah.
- YCI got charged $44.95 from this phone number and I tracked down to find the company website is http://www.realestatepromoter.com/. I figured out they got my credit card information through their partner www.realtytrac.com. I have signed up a service in realtytrac, during the registration process, there is one page with big title saying GET YOUR OWN FREE PERSONAL REAL ESTATE INVESTOR WEB SITE, in the page there is big CONTINUE button, to make you feel you are still in the registration process for the service in realtytrac and get this free service. However besides the big CONTINUE button, there are very small gray fonts saying by clicking CONTINUE button, you authorize them to send your information to real estate promoter for a 30 days free trial, you have to cancel it within the free trail, otherwise you get $44.95 charge per month, below the big CONTINUE button, is a small font link called NO THANKS, complete my registration which you are supposed to click. Since the page is designed so tricky, make you feel you are still doing business with realtytrac, we clicked continue button. Then we signed up the product from real estate promoter without knowing. They did send email to tell you having an account with them. However since we did not know we signed up with them, we thought that was junk email, we never looked at it until we got charged from my credit card after the 30 days free trial. I already asked them to refund me since I never knew I signed up and I never used their product for second (they can track whether I use it or not since it is online product). I am waiting for their response. And also I open a dispute on my credit card.
- YCUpdate for my previous post message. Real Estate Promoter is going to refund the $44.95 after I talked to them and explained what happened and how I signed up their service without knowing. I guess they can check that I never use their service. They refund the charge. But this is a lesson. We should pay more attention when register things especially to those small text which is difficult to read and easy to miss.
- KKNever heard of this company but they charged me 49.95/mo starting in Feb 09. I disputed in April 09 with my credit card company, and I got the refund for Feb, Mar, and Apr of 09. And Now they still continued to charge me 49.95 for May and June. Had to cancel my credit card to get them off my back! There should be some kind of laws to protect consumers from being scammed like this!
- CHARLES ENCHCharged my Visa 49.95 service I did not buy or know what's about

- DMReal Estate Promoter has been charging my credit card since November 2008 till this August. I have never asked them for any business neither used their service. I had subscribed in October 2008 membership with Realty Track and after a month I canceled membership. That is probably how Real Estate Promoter has gotten my CC number and started charge me for November 2008 $39.95 and after $44.95. I called them and they explained me that they open for me REAL ESTATE INVESTOR WEB SITE "on my request" and that is reason they charged me.
I canceled my credit card and filled dispute on Real Estate Promoter charges. - JASome body need to stop this kind of fraud.
These thieves must be in jail.
I got a charge for $59.95 with the same ID reference as all of you.
Are the same company as "BARGAIN NET", so please do not trade with them.- Caller: Bargain
- JasonI was charged $59.95 as well. I am in the process of disputing the charge. the erroneous charge caused problems with my account. i will probably be assessed overdraft fees.
- prpSame thing as YC. Was charged $44.95. I disputed on my credit card. However, I went to google and put in this number and this page is what came up. I called the number and got a live person. He said it is real estate promoters. I have never heard of them and never used anything from them. I also called Realty trac and asked them about it. They said I signed up for it. However, it's very tricky print. My advice to anyone is to not deal with Realty Trac ever. They were not concerned with my issue and were rude. Said it was Real Estate Promoter I should be calling. However, Real Estate Promoter said I should talk to Realty Trac. I'm thinking I'll report them to BBB.
- stop themI just noticed 8 charges of $49.55 each month on my credit card statement. It started right after the month I canceled Realty Trac free trial period with e-mail confirmation that my credit card will not be charged. I have never dealt with the the 801-705-8325 Real Eatate Promtor indicated on my statement, and I have not dealt with any real estate company except using the Realty Trac Free Trail Period. I never requested or received any service from the company that has been charging me every month.
Everyone, contact TV, Paper news networks and report! Make public aware!- Caller: Real Estate Promotor/Realty Trac
- amy gorsuchI too saw charges on my husband's card and thankfully found this. I had no idea, nor did he. As most of you, he signed up and cancelled the free 30 trial with Realty Trac....I am disputing the charges and contacted them to see if I could get a full refund.
- SPI didn't receive a call, I saw the charge on my credit statement. I had an email from RealtyTrac that had the email address of Real Estate Promoter. When I emailed them, forwarding my cancellation notice, I received an email back stating I must have mistakenly signed up with their company when I thought I was signing up with another. They graciously, however, agreed to credit the $44.95 back to my account. Playing along with the writer at Real Estate Promoter, I suggested that person alert his superiors to the "Fraud" of another company attaching its name to their email address. I received another email thanking me for bringing that information to their attention and that the information would be passed on to a manager.
What a joke!!!! - DineshSame thing happened to me and it is through RealtyTrac. I have been refunded by (atleast they have said so) by Real Estate Pomoter.
MY REQUEST -- Call up RealtyTrac and let them know NOT to trick customers to press the wrong button. If they do not plan to trick customers, than they should be very clear in there buttons. Realtytrac has lost my trust and I will not sign up with them again even if I need there services; I will rather go to another company. I have called them also. - PKLThe problem source is RealtyTacc. It is a trash website without really help but stealing your credit card information. This is second unauthorized credit card charges to me linked to RealtyTacc. I called 801-705-5325 and told operator that I did not legally informed for the service and did not use service. The operator friendly cancelled me account and would refund me.
Hope this helps. - stop themI did not pay close attention to my bills, when I found out, they had been charging me 44.95 per month for 8 months!
How much money had they stolen from people? This company should be put in jail! - PatrickI called Real Estate Promoters and RealtyTrac.
Cancelled both services and have received a refund from both. So, don't give up. If you talk to someone who refuses the refund, call back. Chances are you'll get someone else who might authorize the refund.
