- Ned| 1 replySurvey regarding recent experience in a Chase branch.
- Caller: Chase
- Call type: Survey
- SavannahShe claimed to be from Chase. She asked about my recent experience and if I could take a survey. (wth is she talking about) Then she asked if it was a good time to take a short survey. I told her no that I was at work. Then she hung up without saying anything at all.
- Caller: Chase
- Call type: Survey
- jimHe pretends beeing from Chase and asking me if you have to that specific bank which I previously banked with, he said for the survey also
- Joe| 3 repliesThis is a legitimate and quick survey from Chase. I always ask the nature and purpose for any call I answer. They knew that I had recently visited my Chase branch last week and just asked how I would rate the service on a scale of 1-10, and the reason I gave them a score of 10. I usually can detect a fraud type call but the only questions asked were what I described. No request for any specific or personal information. However, when in doubt, always decline to answer.
- hairballthese ppl are annoying
- Tammy| 1 reply"Research surveys" are never what they seem. Especially from banks. The only correct response to an unknown caller after "hello" is "Who is this please" and "What is the purpose of this call?" If you even respond to your name you are linking yourself to your number for all time and for any purpose.
- BOOPAHHRwhat are these for who cares about your exp..
- Caller: chase
- Call type: Survey
- Musicman| 2 repliesI bought a Call Blocker.... works incredibly well. No calls after a few more tries from them, they gave up. Cost was only $50. No monthly charge, no useage charge. Just plug it in and hit the Blacklist button. If they call again all you hear is one ring. THEY only hear a brief clip of a ring then dead-air. Worth its weight in gold. Has cut down annoying calls 99% (you still have to add new scammer numbers that call though, but that's done by a simple push of a button).
- skyken replies to Musicmanfor a cell phone for $8 total you can block all those that are not in your address book or a whitelist that you create or unknown callers, etc. It's called call control and it's worked for me for 2 years. It works on android phones.
- Deuce StoolsI despise the [***] at this number who keep calling me.
- PhxazSomeone called and left an undecipherable message, for which about the only intelligible thing said was "Chase" and this phone number. Because I couldn't understand the person (sex neutral as I couldn't even tell that!) I sure as heck wouldn't call back. Reviewing the posts here, I do believe this came in right after my visit to a Chase branch. But again, if this was Chase, I'm not calling back. Send me something in the mail, email me, or leave a message that I can understand if you actually want a response. Don't have a person call who is unable to convey their purpose.
- Caller: None listed
- marywCalled and left a message about Chase Bank. Always call at dinner time. Very annoying.
- Caller: Chase Bank
- DrewThat is why I use voice mail. I get so many of these calls I no longer answer the phone. This caller / animal / terrorist / jerk / a****** did not leave a message. If they leave a message, name, and a call back number, then It is probably legit. Otherwise. My friends know to leave a message if they are calling from a number I am not familiar with. I always wonder why people call and not say anything. Are they really that ugly? Do they stink so bad that it comes over the phone? Then why do they call?
- alicat replies to Joe| 1 replyI also received a similar call, i immediately called my local Chase bank and spoke to the manager, he assured me the call was NOT from Chase Bank, he told me they are aware of these calls and are investigating.
- Mystic replies to alicatI just got one of these calls just now. Declined it on my cell. Good to know you called and I appreciate your post. Will know for future reference. Thanks! I put myself on the FCC do not call list today, but I understand that it takes being on for 31 days before we can call and make a complaint. Will be counting the days.
- DeclinedCalled just now. From Provo, UT. Didn't pick up.
- sgtbilkoi tell them first I want to see results of the survey research. that's the end of it.
- MayJust received a call at 3:13pm EST from 801-877-3859. Provo, UT. Did not pick up, no message left.
- dawnI just got off phone with chase fraud because they called more then twice today and they say they are not part of chase banking.
- Call type: Survey
- Jlonestar replies to JoeInteresting - because the same thing happened to me. The whole - how was your recent Chase experience. Um. Creepy thing about that? They don't have my cell phone number. I just heard on the news this morning how Nordstrom Dept store is implementing some weird tracking of their customers via the gps in their customers' cell phones (which supposedly can be disabled by turning off the phone's wi-fi). So, since Chase doesn't have my cell phone number ... did they track me on my gps? Creepy.
