Have yet to pick up because the number is not known to me. No message left on machine. Called twice today.

Called didn't leave a message,  caller id reads SSI but it's Sunday not a GOV. Business day?

When I picked up the phone, I got a weird clown-horn kind of sound, then I hung up.

These people (whoever they are) have been calling for the past 2 days. No one answers. I have no idea who it is. All I know is that they are either spammers or solicitors as I know no one with that area code.

Caller ID said SSI.  I let the answering machine get it.  A woman who thought someone answered, asked to speak with me.  She then asked if anyone was on the line and then hung up.

Call ID says the calls originates from Utah. Calls one or 2 times a day. No one there when I answer.
Scam?

Yep.  Not answering, two calls in the last hour and one last week.  No way am I picking up!!
