Getting multiple calls daily from this #!

They call me everyday at least 3 times. Get the hint people. I don't answer numbers I don't know so leave a message if you want a call back! I'm so tired of getting repeat phone calls up till 9:50pm sometimes. This is prime example of harrasment!

This is a collection company in Utah called Millenia.  They collect for doctor's offices that have past due accounts.  They do not leave messages because of HIPAA laws and cannot give possible patient information. They are a bonafide, law-abiding, legit agency.

If you want to deal with the past due medical bill - do it if you are trying to protect or maintain your beacon score.  If you do not deal with them - and they will be reasonable in this economy - they will eventually report your name to the credit bureau and then mess up your credit.  But, if you are not the person who owes - they will take your number off their list.

If you want to get rid of them, do this:  Call them back and give them the number they are calling you on.  They will look it up and say, "we are trying to reach Tim White at the number you have us" or whatever. You can then tell them whatever you like.

If you do not want a call anymore tell them there is no Tim White at this number and they will appropriately REMOVE that number from their records.  If you want to deal with the past due medical bill - and it is yours - you are protecting your future.  You never know when you might need to take out a loan or get a utility bill hook-up. If you tell them your situation - they have the ability to lower the amount you owe or sometimes remove it altogether.
