Been called twice in the last week. No voice on other end and does not leave a message.

Got a couple of calls, but did not answer because I did not recognize the number. Left a message, but it was just dead air. Decided to call back and an automated voice answered "American Express. Please enter your 15-digit (I think) card number". I didn't enter anything and after a minute or so a live person answered "American Express Customer Service".

Answered, saying it was American express, asking for someone which i was not the person. Don't give out any account info!! it's a fraud!! people trying to steal your account info!! Banks should never call you for account number info. don't give it out!!

I've received several calls from them today and no one leaves a message. It appears on caller id as a private number. I refuse to answer private numbers, especially when they've been given a chance to leave a message.

I do not have American Express nor do I want it.  They have called me eight times in one day. When will they learn that if I don't answer their call they should stop calling. I have listed them on DO NOT CALL LIST. Hope it works this time.

This number has called several times over several months & I don't answer as I don't know a soul in Utah. Never leave a message. Just a pain as we are old & hard to get to phone & find its nothing.

Probably American Express.  I just received two calls in a row.  The first call from this number.  The second call did show American Express, but I answered as it disconnected.  Since my account hasn't been used for over a year I called them right back.  Customer service said my account balance is zero and didn't know why I was being called.
